This year I actually had a good number of Trick or Treaters, for the first time ever! I was so happy to see them!
Other than giving out candy, I had carved several pumpkins and watched Hocus Pocus with a friend. A pretty chill Halloween this year, as usual for me.

What is everyone working on? 
I've got four customs lined up. One is a gift so I can't talk about it. One is a 3 year old WIP I want to finally finish. The other two are going to be a general spring pony and an Easter pony. I'll be making wool felted and polymer clay minis to go along with them.
I need to style the hair on my second, larger Sugar Moonlight custom! I think I need some kind of gel or glue to keep the hair in position, I don't know much about styling other than boil perm curls :/ Other than that I want to prep a bait to make Thunder ("green guard" from G5) and send it and another pony to you (BC) for airbrushing!

Yes, it is called "candy corn" and it is a typical USA halloween/autumn candy (people usually either love it or hate it!) She's the only halloween pony I actually want - I like her on her own AND her costume

Those are so interesting, thanks for sharing. Such a unique style for something licensed, it's reminding me of something I saw in another fandom but I can't quite put my finger on it right now. I think the hair looks pretty good, it looks like Shetland pony manes! The MLP and friends stories seen fairly timeless so I can see why they would be enjoyed in 2007.
I would love to see more of the little bios and pony stats!

Thanks for your responses! Sorry I neglected to answer at the time but I did read them!
I decided to try ordering some recently since I ended up having to order some hair (Shimmerlocks). They were indeed snipped and smoothed needles like I make for myself. They worked well, were nice and smooth. They seemed to have a really short "hair slot" but they held a "plug" of hair okay so I can't complain! I don't know if I will buy more or continue to make my own in the future, I have no strong feelings either way.
