There's another Rarity at the Walgreens at Dairy and Palm Bay! If you want her.

Oh cool, you got the Rarity they had too. I'm glad you were able to get the other Applejack.  :)

I wouldn't have found them if it weren't for you, so thank you! I'm going to open the Rarity. :D

0_o I ended up finding another FS Applejack and a FS Rarity at a Walgreens here, so the first Applejack is up on ebay :D There's a link in my thread in the sales forum.

Pony Corral / Re: What's the most you'll pay for a pony?

After a lot of thought, I think my upper limit is about 200. But that would have to be one very special pony! I can certainly see myself spending 20-50 on a pony without much guilt (if that's what it's worth, and if all my bills are paid...).

 I'm going to keep this short and sweet, but I scored a Fashion Style Applejack at a Wal-Mart yesterday!!
I didn't take pictures but I imagine everyone knows what she looks like by now :P

I can't decide if I should hold on to her or sell her! I didn't realize how much they were going for on eBay, and I really need to make another order from DollyHair...what do you all think I should do?

I have a MIB Fashion Style Applejack. If you're still interested in one, let me know. How much were you willing to pay?

I love her colors!  How did you do her eyes?  They have such a neat glow to them.

Powdery glitter mixed with mod podge! That's how the blueish spots all over her body are done, as well. The green spots are acrylic paint.

Such a cool idea! I love seeing ponies that have more of a "this is a piece of art, not a cutie mark" feel to them, they stick out a bit more to me.

 I'm back with another custom!
This one has been rehaired with a mix of DH water nixie, mermaid, unlucky clover, and a small amount of starlight.
Sorry for the less than wonderful pictures and fly-aways in her mane, she needs her curls re-done! And I need a better camera on my phone...

wow, looks awesome! Are the rainbow-y parts from the camera's flash, or actually painted on there, or is it the crayon/marker showing through? Either way, that rainbow effect looks really cool!  ^.^  like little galaxies far off.
amazing! keep doin' what you're doin'!

The colors are all painted on! I used mostly metallic craft paint I got from Wal Mart, and some Martha Stewart glitter paint.
ooooh metallic paaaaaint!!! so pwetty!
I've been planning on venturing into the world of metallic paints; was it the same as using regular acryllics? Any advice on working with it?

Well, working with it on a small scale like this was really easy, it was just the same as regular acrylics. I'm working on a full body metallic repaint today though and it's a pain, i can already tell i'm going to have to do twice as many coats to get an even color. When you're covering large areas (at least with the paints i'm using) it tends to dry streaky. I've been painting and sanding all morning and it's finally starting to look like a solid color.
