I opened the case. And, well.. someone responded on the seller's behalf at 11PM Pacific time, explaining that the seller is currently medically unable to run the store (as I suspected) and apologizing for the mess.

However, presumably due to being in a justified panic about the situation, they immediately refunded me without any further communication than that explanation message (and eBay naturally closed the case shortly after, despite saying in the alert for the response that I could message back in the resolution center; if users are meant to be allowed to respond in the resolution center then give an actual reasonable timeframe for it, eBay ). I'm actually tempted to appeal the case because of the unreasonably swift closure and because a refund is barely better than losing my money on this one.

I managed to send another message through the order details page, asking the person who responded to instead send the item out on the seller's behalf if at all possible, and that I would reverse the refund if possible or even re-buy the item if necessary.

Hello! Every so often I've been getting an error on here while trying to browse. The error is an all white screen with the following text displayed in the upper left corner:

"Table 'smf_sessions' is marked as crashed and should be repaired"

I asked in a pony Discord server I'm in if anybody else was experiencing this issue and someone said they're getting it too, so it's not an issue on my end. Does anyone know why this is happening?

I also seem unable to log out. After getting the error I closed my browser and reopened it to see if it would solve the problem, it temporarily did, and I went to try logging out to maybe see if logging out and back in would solve it more permanently when I was still wondering if it was on my end. But I get a different error when trying to do that.

I'm having the same smf_sessions error...

I ordered an item off eBay on December 28th. The estimated delivery date was between January 13th to January 15th. It hasn't shown up yet, it's not marked as shipped, the seller has not responded to either of my messages yet, and their most recent feedback has multiple negatives talking about ahipping.

But at the same time, I know things are chaotic, the postal service is overloaded and has been subjected to top-down sabotage...

And the item I bought was a rare deal for the item in question.

I am well aware of the shrinking and cracking with Play-Doh, Myndi, you can see that with the molds in the picture A lot of cracking happened since I had the clay sitting on the parts the whole time it was drying so that the impressions couldn't shrink overmuch.

Regarding sealant... Well, that's not specifically what I was looking for, at least not for the actual cast pieces. I was figuring I could just use acrylic gloss coat to seal those once they were made.
What I was mainly looking for was a way to keep the clay I'm making the pieces out of from getting stuck in the molds. The reason Shaiyeh mentioned sealant is she was figuring applying gloss sealant to the molds might prevent the clay for the pieces from sticking to them.

The offbrand Play-Doh is what I have on hand already ready to use, at least as far as air-dry goes (I do also have Sculpey). Really the best thing for what I'm trying to do is resin-casting, but I've only got a singular small resin-casting kit and I'm not sure I can make a proper mold of the parts with it. Which is why I'm trying to both mold and cast the reproduction parts in clay.

That site you linked... I guess the soapy clay would serve me best out of the recipes they provide? But I don't know if we have what I'd need in the house. Might be worth a shot though, so thanks for the link.

So, I'm trying to reproduce some parts by making impressions of them with air-dry modelling clay and then using those impressions to mold more clay into copies of the parts.

But I've been having a problem of the clay "sticking" to the impressions too much.

Is there anything I can coat the inside of the impressions with to prevent this?
