Is it uncommon to find the boys in their hats? I only started collecting anything G1 like a month ago I think? I'm not super familiar with a lot yet.

And yes, I agree new pony is definitely one of the best smells.

My Tex's hat is also really difficult to take on an off. I wonder if it has to do with the shape of the plastic compared to the others?

Chief's hat slides on super easy and fits loose, it moves around on his head but his ears hold it in on his head. 4-Speed's is tight putting on but then fits pretty nicely nicely, not as loose as Chief's though.

Flower Dreams was actually a freebie with a lot of G4 ponies. She had super frizzy hair but I've slowly been working it out. Very slowly lol.

Windy and Moondancer are my Ebay buys. Windy is a favorite.

Parasol and Dazzleglow are from here and I have never loved a pony as much as I love Dazzleglow. Parasol has a sweet little spot sitting next to my Nana's picture normally :)

And now onto my yard sale finds!

The ponies in these first four pictures were kept up really well. I've been told they have new pony smell? It's kinda like a sweet slightly fruity baby powder scent. Is that actually new pony smell?

I use multiple methods whenever I feel like it. But they all ultimately get thrown out the window.

  • I like to complete sets
  • Get favorites
  • Go for the cheap
  • Stop into a store for a quick pony

Or something else that happens to come to mind. It really all depends on my mood.

Like this week G2s pique my interest.

Or sometimes it's totally impulse. I got Dazzleglow recently. I didn't even like her before I saw mine when she was for sale. And once I did it was like, I need that pony. She's currently residing on my night stand.

It's generally a surprise to me lol.

The only consistent thing is I pay attention to price because I have to make them fit into my budget somehow. But there's so many I would love to get a hold of that I don't think I currently have the patience to save and wait.

I don't remember which one but my step sister and I were playing with her ponies and working on crafts. One of them ended up with a bit of glitter paint (it was something like pink acrylic, with glitter, and some glue mixed in that Memere made) in her mane and I think a swish on her leg but that's about it. We threw them sometimes so they could fly but they were never actually damaged from that because we'd aim for the couch. Other than that my one pony was probably stored horribly. I played carefully for the most part but hated cleaning my room so I just threw everything on the floor. If I had to clean my room I just threw everything on the closet floor lol.

Also - now that I think of it. I think I trashed one of my step sister's ponies too because I was mad at her. I had gotten in trouble for not cleaning my room. And half the stuff was hers. So I pulled all mine out and put all of hers in the trash. I'm pretty sure Ivy and her accessories were in there.

It's a known issue that everywhere the app has been released the servers have been offline or super unstable for like 5 and half hours now unfortunately :/

I got a Charmander for my starter (still sad I didn't know how to get Pikachu for my starter when I started).

I have had Charmander and Bulbasaur in my general area about once each while I was on the T. But other than that all I can find are Squirtles. I got enough of the to evolve to a Wartortle the other day.

Also - has anyone else gotten death glares while battling a gym lol? Apparently I demolished one yesterday morning while a member of the team I took it from stood across the street from me.
