Tack hör hjälpen, ni är gulliga! :lovey: Fox was first, so it looks like she'll be taking care of this, but I'm really grateful for both your offers!

Since you're both in the SEPA (Single Euro Payments) area, you can make a SEPA bank transfer in €€€ using the other person's IBAN/BIC codes and possibly address (my bank requires it, I'm not sure if this is universal). The only way to find out about possible fees is to ask the bank (I say possible since in my bank SEPA payments are free). Also, the recipient's bank may charge them for conversion to SEK.

If you mean starpak.eu, how are you supposed to order from them? I tried to check the shop in an attempt to see what I can do and all I get is a message in Polish, which I unfortunately do not speak.

Pony Corral / Re: Night Glider?! And did I do good?
« on: February 17, 2013, 12:08:40 AM »
I've got a minty Night Glider that I paid about $22 for, if I remember correctly. She's a lovely pony but not quite worth $80 imo... :drunk: OTOH, ponies tend to be worth the price people are willing to pay, so if someone wants her that much, why not.

Congrats on the Dutch Heart, I agree that $16 on her is a good price.

I traded them to someone in Finland for MASSIVE amounts of exclusive G1s. :)

Wish it had been me (it wasn't). I could use a Stardazzle.

I'm after some accessories on the Swedish auction site Tradera, but the listing is open to Swedish bidders only. So, I'd basically need a Swede to bid on it, hopefully win and resell to me. Anyone? The helpful soul will be rewarded in whatever way they want and I can offer, like commissioned art or plain ol' $$$.

If they are asking for something weird like a personal check, that just screams scam to me.
Not necessarily, since in France personal checks are still used a lot (I've lived there, so I know what I'm talking about) and sound like a valid option for a French seller willing to avoid paypal fees... However, they are unsafe and I think you did wisely in canceling the transaction.

I have some Dream Beauties and am looking for some more, but I don't like them all. The Sweet Perfume set is my favourite (I'm somehow fascinated by the idea of them carrying perfume), but I wouldn't want a Rainbow Beauty in my herd. I think of them as living outside Ponyland. No, ponies don't grow up to be horses.

Still, as for 80s hard plastic horses, I ultimately prefer the FSFs with their outrageous designs and elegant sculpting. I wouldn't call Dream Beauties particularly elegant. Next to FSFs, they appear clumsy.

Pony Corral / Re: POTD 2/13/2013 Cherry Treats

I'm partial to Cherry Treats... She's the second non-fakie MLP I ever got and counts as a childhood pony of mine (I didn't have too many) - I found her at a school rummage sale. She's had a haircut but has retained her sweet scent. And I adore that shade of red!

:whoa: Welcome to the Arena, clones-mom! Mine's a bit more... utilitarian than you. She regards my collecting as an investment because apparently ponies = $$$$ :snicker: She has her soft side, though. The other day she was urging me to get a Crumpet asap, because the pony's BEAUTIFUL (in ALL CAPS). There's perhaps a chance that I can convert her too :snicker:

Lemon Drop's my favourite pony of all time and a true classic. I've got at least Macau, Italian (2 different ponies ... cannot remember which), NC, MO and a selection of more common variants of her. Sorry, no pics, since my ponies are 160 miles away from me.

Granted, you are now the brightest mind on the planet. So bright in fact that you have as much in common with the rest of humankind as the humankind with protozoa. Enjoy the isolation.

I wish I could earn a living as a comic artist.

Off Topic / Re: Resolved: FSF Lalana's hair color (photos added)
« on: January 25, 2013, 12:34:16 PM »
cattrah, thank you for sharing yours! At the very least I can tell that the NRFB Frenchie's forelock is half pink, exactly like my Lalana's, so striped she is. What perhaps helped me see the stripes (and has caused others not to notice them) is that I happened upon a faded Lalana because they are indeed very subtle when true-pink.
Also, Filly Catwalk updates = yes please! I'm looking forward to seeing your filly treasures!
