Wow, such a super quick ID! I may have been able to figure out the baby if I'd searched hard enough but I don't know if I'd ever have found out the first one with a crazy long name like that! I absolutely adore the looks of the other three baby ballerinas though and I'm doing everything in my power not to go crazy and adopt them all right away...but it would give me the most wonderful excuse to get them a cute little nursery to display them in  :lovey: I don't tend to collect G1's anymore, but these cuties definitely get an exception.

So about a month ago I moved back home and was determined to dig out my box of old pony toys I was obsessed with when I was little. Sadly, they were in storage and not the back room as I had thought, delaying my search. But today I finally had the time to get down and dirty and dig all the way into the back of our storage, amidst mounds of boxes and dust, to pull out my box of childhood toys. Just as I remembered, the box was filled with old beanie babies and tons of ponies. But...not My Little Ponies. Lots of Grand Champions, Barbie ponies, miscellaneous generic ponies, and my oh-so favorite set of tiny Pound Puppy ponies that I adore almost as much as my official ponies. But as for real deal? Well, turns out my memory isn't what I thought it was, I only had 2! But two or twenty, seeing these little ladies have really brought back some memories and I'm so happy to have them back with me. Perhaps you can tell me a little more about them?

Haha, I actually feel pretty terrible about this leggy lady, since I remember, as a child, I hadn't even known she was an official pony! I thought she was a fakie (or, a pony "wannabe as I called her), and it wasn't until recently I discovered she actually is a Hasbro pony. I am also curious what generation she is from? 1 or 2?

And this sweet darling <3 Yes, I do remember her very much. I was obsessed with ballerinas when I was younger and I loved the way her legs could move.  I'm thinking she was actually my very first My Little Pony! I don't know if there are others made like her or if they are difficult to find, but even though I don't usually seek out armies and whatnot, I am feeling the tug to find her a little ballerina friend.

So there we have it. Maybe not as impressive as the huge childhood collections of some, but I'm happy with my pair.  :lovey: I've never cleaned up a pony before but I think tomorrow I'd like to try to restore some life to these girls, especially my darling little baby pony.

UPDATE: With some lovely help from kiss_the_thunder I got my gals all fixed up and looking gorgeous again! I'm shocked at just how soft and lovely my little ballerina's mane and tail are, and while Pretty Belle may not be a prom queen anymore, she doesn't even look like the same pony anymore!

Oh! How silly I didn't even notice you had posted my sweet Inkling here! Of course you already know I adore the way you drew her, especially those gorgeous twinkle eyes and her cutie mark <3

Pony Corral / Re: Playsets for many ponies?

I LOVE the Lil' Woodsies playsets, like, absolutely adore them <3 They remind me of the Barbie sets I had when I was younger that had all these tiny extras to set up and display. I don't have enough space for any atm, but gosh darn, those are way too cute.

And thank you everyone for sharing your photos! I also wanted to share (haha, suggesting in my owh thread), that I popped into Micheals today to pick up some supplies and took a gander down their wood aisle. They have a very cute plain wooden castle that opens up, and looks like it could hold about 20 G4 sized ponies very comfortably. It's $19.99 and I'm thinking a good choice for some of you craftier collectors out there. It's certainly on my 'maybe' list for sure!

Oh wow, that picture is awesome! Thank you guys for all your suggestions! I'm having way too much fun searching on ebay for all these things, and discovered, going by the first suggestion that fisher price little people also had a couple of castle versions as well as their farm (haha, if I can't have Dream Castle I still want a castle, dernit!) which looks like it can hold a decent number of ponies. Further exploring also led me to find the Dora the Explorer castle, which, as somewhat embarrassed as I am to admit, is also quite cute and looks an appropriate size as well  Yay for having choices!

Arts & Crafts Corral / My first pony fanart- Rarity x Big Mac
« on: June 21, 2012, 10:55:46 PM »
I drew this back in March, but this is my first time sharing any of my real pony art. Rarity and Big Mac is one of my favorite ships, and as Rarity is also one of my favorite ponies I was naturally inclined to draw these two as my first. Hope you like!

I have to face facts that the rarity and price of Dream Castle likely means I won't ever really obtain one for my own little pony herd. But I would still very much like a set that would serve more as a type of home in which to store a majority of my ponies, rather than a set with only a few pieces meant for display (such as the majority that I've been finding).

But, I admit, I'm not very well versed in a lot of the toys out nowadays, and I'm also looking into sets from other toy lines that are in proportion to the G4 ponies, such as Littlest Pet Shop.  Perhaps some of you more seasoned pony lovers have some ideas or suggestions for me to turn to. I know some of the nurseries are a bit easier to find, but I would feel so odd sending my adult ponies in a baby pony home to live!

Wow, that's amazing! That white pegasus almost directly in the middle is so pretty (don't suppose you happen to know who she is?  )! You're super lucky, congrats on such lovely new additions!

Pony Corral / Re: What's the latest pony or MLP item you bought?

Went to Target yesterday with my sister to get some picture frames. Had a leftover gift card from Christmas with about $11 on it so of course I had to check out the ponies. I'm still missing Twilight, Rainbow and Pinkie from my mane 6 collection and I had wanted the latter two...but then I saw what other brushables they had for offer. Fell instantly in love with Diamond Rose (even if her eye is a little wonky) and knew she was mine...and then I saw HoneyBuzz, which reminds me a lot of BumbleSweet from the Blind Bags, who also happened to be one of my favorite BB ponies, so....

I still really want the other 3 and I will get them some day, but I'm remembering how they had another pegasus for sale with feathers as her cutie mark, and she's been on my mind...

Some of those are SO pretty! I'm really confused though...so, they are up to at least 5 or 6 waves of the Blind Bag ponies? I know here in the US we're still waiting on the 2nd wave..so where are all the other waves being released at? Other countries or just available online somewhere? Is there a place to figure out which  ponies belong to which wave in an organized list of some sort?

Aww, Lemon Hearts is one of my favorite Blind Bag ponies! <3 She looks adorable, hopefully she hits the stores, I'd love her and a Cherry Spices (if they turn her into a brushable).

Perhaps I am just extremely lucky, but I can't find anything wrong with any of my G4 ponies. But then again, aside from my Blind Bag ponies, I only own four of them, Rarity, Fluttershy, AppleJack and Ploomette. I just inspected all of them over again in detail and there aren't any mismatched heads/bodies, rubbed off cutie marks or excess glue. The only problem I noticed was that AppleJack has the tiniest of scratches on her eye which I had to really study to notice, but that very well could have been my own fault as I wasn't the most careful with storing away my ponies when I moved a month ago.

I would still like to get the other three of the mane 6, along with a few others, so I'll certainly be more aware when it comes to quality control issues and whatnot. I dunno, I never really looked too close at them when I bought them and they're all quite pretty to me!

The Blind Bag Glitter Twilight Sparkle. I had no interest in any of the glitter ponies and Twilight is my least favorite. However, after I found glitter RD by chance and received glitter Pinkie Pie on my birthday...okay, now I NEED Twilight to complete the set!

Actually, I was gifted a ton of the Blind Bag ponies on my birthday, which, along with the ones I already owned before then, I kind of want to just go ahead and get all 24 now. I had intended only to buy my favorites, but now that I honestly think I'm only about 3 ponies away (including the previously mentioned glitter Twilight Sparkle) I figure I may as well go for the whole group!
