Pony Corral / Re: Worst... boxes... EVER
« on: June 12, 2012, 08:13:27 AM »
well pinkie is master of breaking the forth wall so much strength is required to keep her in place ...LOL

Well she is highly energetic, this is true :P

After hearing these things I'm both happy about that I've decided to keep my other G4's in their boxes and worried >.< Don't wanna go through that horror again with every pony, but at the same time I'm worried the boxes might be damaging the ponies :S

Either way it sounds like Hasbro needs to bring back their G1 boxes for ponies. No torn off heads, broken nails or cuts there :P

Pony Corral / Worst... boxes... EVER
« on: June 12, 2012, 07:17:33 AM »
I didn't think I would, but I finally gave in and bought an extra Travelers Pinkie Pie to open. When I got home with her I started turning the box upside-down and back and forth, trying to figure out how on earth I was supposed to get into the box. I started peeling at the sides but only got small pieces of the box in my hand. I decided to go at it with siccorss and managed get it into the box just enough to cut the bottom corners up. After that I had to use my hands to rip the rest of the plastic away that was covering her and ended up cutting myself on it >.<

Once I FINALLY got into the box I had to use some serious strength to pry her out of the plastic backside of the box. I'm not exagerating when I say it took me at least 10 minutes to get Pinkie Pie and the two accessories out of that box.
Not only that but Pinkie Pie had some marks on her legs where the box had been squeezed around them to keep her in place.

That was without a doubt the most horrible box I've ever had to get a pony out of, and I thought the G3 boxes were bad XD

Just had to vent my frustration and also ask if anyone else had issues with the ponies beeing dented and such from the boxes they come in?

I've never heard of them before, but that could be because they're not sold in Sweden :P

Allthough they are cute I still feel that they are "fakies" and, boring as it may be, I'm strictly a MLP girl ;) Even if I wanted to I couldn't afford to start yet another collection XD

I dont think it matters what country you are in TRU stock is weird!!!

Agreed. Allthough I must admit that I've always thought they had such weird stock here because this is Sweden and we're usually abit behind on releases. While they usually have had a bunch of the latest ones (never all of them) they've also always had a load of old ones.

Right now though they seem to be pretty much up to date here. Only have the latest ones (yet still not all of them >.< )

Off Topic / Re: High shipping cost?
« on: June 10, 2012, 11:12:42 AM »
Yeh I thought it should be around $5-10 for shipping of one pony. But since I haven't bought any ponies from overseas for a long time I wasn't completely sure :P Fees might change.

I'll write to this seller and ask if they have other options of shipping that will be cheaper. If not I'm gonna stay clear of this one auction anyway.

Thanks for the info guys :)

The seller is in California and since my ebay account is registerd and set in Sweden I guess it's calculated for that. Still seemd abit much nonetheless in my opinion anyway.

Not sure if i should put this here or in the Pony Corral but anyway.

I was looking through some ebay auctions and found a G3 Pinkie Pie 25th Celebration Pony loose. That means its just one little pony to be sent and the seller has put in the description that international shipping for this one pony is $40.
Is it just me or does that seem to be a little bit pricy for shipping of one single - not in box - G3 pony?

Off Topic / Re: do your tattoos ever itch?
« on: June 10, 2012, 07:30:39 AM »

The only instructions I got from the tattoo artist was not to lick it, or peel the dry skin.

Not to lick it??? Is it a common occurrence for people to lick tattoos???

Yeh that had me baffled too and the image i got in my head kinda made me laugh :P

Anyway I have tattoos in 4 different places and none of mine have ever itched. However I do have a birthcontrollstick operated into my arm and that does itch every now and then. So my guess is that your body does react to certing things. Even though it might not be allergic reactions per-se it will still react every now and then to things that aren't a natural part of your body.

Wanted! / Pinkie Pie Wishlist
« on: June 09, 2012, 05:07:34 PM »
Before I post my wishlist there are a few things I feel I have to mention before I enter any form of transaction with anyone here:

*1. I just managed to start a Paypal account and have never used it before. This means I have very little clue of how it works. But if you're still willing to sell to me I hope you will have patience with me and I will figure out how to transfer the payment to you :)

*2. I live in Sweden, so you as a seller have to be willing to ship worldwide (unless you live in Sweden obviously :P )

So with that beeing said (so you as a seller don't feel you're getting some bad surprises from my end) here's my little wishlist:
