I must have missed something... Why would Pinkie have a boutique?

So Hasbro can sell pony clothes! It would totally make more sense for it to be Rarity's boutique, but Pinkie Pie must sell better. Something about all the pink, I guess. Rarity gets no love

BTW tiny things rock!  I had some petite ponies growing up but they were destroyed in a flood   Plus I'm a little obsessed with dollhouse furniture!

I'm sorry to hear about your ponies I had a whole bunch of petite ponies when I was a kid, but my mom sold them at a garage sale one year. Not really comparable to a flood though!
