She's' fab*!* And that looks like "velvet glitter" to me: kinda matte and luxurious rather than sparkly like normal glitter. It behaves much like flocking. The only glimmer I have is Ploomette, hoove I LOVE. So sick of the one sided symbol non-sense_it severely limits display & play value when my pony only looks like herself when facing one direction. Maybe they give us turned heads to try to make up for that_ain't workin.

Well, Kmart sucks. Payment confirmed, notification of item being sold out even though it says available and even shows it being at certain local stores, payment refunded.
Went to stores & online info is totally inaccurate. You have to try & buy them to find out if they're in stock. Of Lyra, Trixie & Sunny Rays only Sunny Rays order went thru...not for me but for my boyfriend...even though we live in the same place. So I'll keep ya posted on what we get in the mail come 14-20th (est delivery date)
The most interesting find was Dewdrop Dazzle x 3. The M6 luggage & M6 with DVDs were the bulk of quantity.

Those are so cool! I want the chairs and the clouds, lol! Where do I find them? If ebay, what would I search! Awesomely ghoulishly creative!!!! LOVE!
^-^ glad you like*!* My love of ponies caused me to stumble over the playset and I manged to get 2 in my area. It's rather old but online it's still very expensive, so best wishes to you on your search. Here is all you need to know about it. http://www.amazon.com/Magical-Cloud-Kingdom-Adventure-Playset/dp/B0007WX1J8They aren't kidding about it's size-it's HUGE! And hard to get apart and re-assemble, but sturdy and beautiful. My 2 sets properly assembled take up like 6 feet side by side. A set comes with 2 chairs like these, the table you see my dolls sitting at(which has a lazy susan like rotating top for some reason, but it's of no bother) & one little Kelly sized chair that I'm still tryin to figure out what to do with.

None of my dolls have this. I take them from 86+ in my room to 50 degrees in the basement where their house is & don't wash out the glue or boil them or even get them wet. As I recall there was a photo comparison thread of the evolution of the doll's hair texture as teh line gained popularity...which makes me wonder if it's not so much where they're made but what hair type is being used. Didn't the hair become a heavier weight as the dolls got newer, or anyway change, so if a coating or type of hair could be found to be the culprit we could help Mattel with our "complaints" by compiling a list somewhere here of the dolls name, year, hair, makers marks, hair type and treatment(by which I mean does it have mattel gel or is it curled, possibly colored)
I'd also suggest not accepting submissions from people who have boil permed or used various things that mattel did not ever intend, just so we can establish a very accurate document of Mattel's mistake. Or putting those into another grouping, since the heat and chemical components are still a valid concern Mattel should use to get to the root (haha) of this problem.
We know now about the ways pony plastic breaks down. We appreciate the line and want everyone to carry it into our future-pass it onto our children if we have them (like we did our ponies) so this isn't *just* an adult collector issue: we call upon Mattel to rectify and not only reimburse. Ultimately we don't want to be purchasing dolls who will become defective within this decade, so I feel our goal is to ensure that newer dolls are "born" free of this problem. The characters and styles are only getting better & if I have to wait long for a Venus, in a different outfit, that will not have seepage, then I will. That'd be all kinds of bad on her =[ I also still think we should bombard Mattel with letters requesting all MH dolls be made of Rochelle's plastic.

What is this about glue? Seepage? Should I continue to select dolls based on how good their hair looks with the glue in? Do I need to wash it out?! What do I use? Not wash it out?! I hope it's not wash it, cuz I love my dolls as they are.
Check the lower back. Any doll from Indonesia can be prone to this. Apparently it does not wash out. If you wash their hair it'll make it worse quicker. It'll eventually get worse too from what I heard. Some dolls apparently get the problem right out of the box, while others won't do it for months.
This is the original post of a girl who has tons of dolls with the problem: http://akkismos.tumblr.com/post/22276103860/since-people-seem-to-be-noticing-and-finally
