Aww, Zenzen!! Being a responsible adult just Bites sometimes!! I hope you find your new wheels soon and that you have a wittle left over in your budget for a new dolly!! <3

Harmony shipped today (three days early; I'll take it! XD ) but it doesn't look like I'm going to be home to get her, so I'll have to make arrangements with my PO.. who I don't generally get along with. XD Oh, life! Why you so funny!

There's a whole lot more going on than the need for a new car.  *sigh*  It might be a really long time before I am able to get a doll again.  I'll just live vicariously through everyone else!  I can't wait to see Harmony!

I'd be curious to know if there are plans to bring back some of the clothes that aren't currently available.  There was a sweater that I loved and now it's gone!  :yikes:

I am so so jelly, Cherry!  I am waiting on nobody.  And I really have the dolly itch right now.  :yikes:

Just for giggles, I added Ebony and some outfits to my shopping cart yesterday.  Ouch.  I still want her desperately, but since my car burned to the ground a couple of weeks ago, I can't exactly afford a new doll right now.  And it's frustrating, because I have a serious itch to buy something!

Thanks, guys!  :grouphug:  I feel good to have it all done finally.  I'm actually about to move AGAIN (I hate moving, lol) and the quilt is all boxed up to come with me.  When we do our next big Arena fundraiser, it will be available to purchase to help cover forum operating costs.  :)

Thanks to everyone who sent in their squares!

I'm doing really well, actually.  Thank you!  The last few years had been really horribly difficult for me and the past 12 months were even more so.  But since my divorce in March, life has taken a complete turn for the better in every possible way.  I haven't been this happy in as long as I can remember.  :)  Hopefully soon, life might calm down enough that I can be active on the forums again.  I've missed my Arena time!

I finished the quilt today!  I just had to hand sew up the bottom where I had left it open after turning last night and then do the quilting. I'm really happy with the finished quilt!  And I did all the sewing at my grandma's house (even though my sewing machine is actually pretty great now that she got it all fixed for me), so I got to hang out with her for the day too.  Win-win!

So here it is, guys.  All put together after all this time!  :hearts:

I had to stand on a chair for this one because it's pretty tall.

And just for giggles, this is what happens if I don't stand on a chair.  My 5'5" self was standing on tippy toes and I could barely see over!   I feel like Wilson from Tool Time.  Does that make me sound old? lol!

Thank you guys for all being so patient with me!  I love all of the squares and I think they make a great set.  Each one is different and they still go together well.  I think it really represents the diversity of our community well and I hope that you like the finished product!

Holy cow, you guys!  I live!  :faint:  So the last year has been really insane.  Aside from the move and then fixing up my house, I found myself in the position of breadwinner but also the housewife.  I literally spent all of my time working, cooking, or cleaning and never had a moment to so much as sit and read, let alone sew. I finally got divorced in March (this is a cause for GREAT celebration for me), had to deal with lots of paperwork and phone calls, and spent some time working 7 days a week.  But today I finally had a chance to work on the poor quilt!  I assembled the whole face and attached it to the backing!  It's super cute and I am hoping to finish the quilting in the next couple of days, because life will be getting even CRAZIER soon.  Stay tuned for final photos in the next few days!

:green: :cheer: :hearts:

I abandoned the original plan of dying fabrics because I found this insanely cute pastel cloud and star fabric at my grandma's house.  So here were all the pieces cut out and placed, after making sure that all of the squares were exactly 18"

And the face all assembled!

I've sewn on the backing and will knock out the quilting in the next few days, I think.  :)  Thanks everyone, for being so patient while life kicked my butt.  :grouphug:

Hello, lovies!  :grouphug:

Those rainbow dresses are so cute! What a great idea.  :)

This is me!  I'm usually blonde (my natural color), but I've been brunette since Halloween and I love it.
