Alphabittle's design makes me got "Errr...." His symbol seems to be a seashell? He's a Unicorn, but it seems Unicorn horns are now more or less between the ears like party hats Argyle's medallion there looks like Twilight's cutie mark. Also, why does he not seem to have a cutie mark of his own?
His mark may be on the unseen side... from what I have noticed is that sometimes the marks seem to switch sides in the promotional stuff

The style in the 2D art is really a mix of G2 and G4 from what I can tell.
Not a fan of all the animals/pets having a horn though :x

So both Zipp and Pipp are actually princesses. Yet up till now they were only using the Princess title for Pipp.

I believe Pipp Petals is called Princess Petals because she has something to do with being a pop star or something.
Both her and Zipp actually have a crown as part of their symbols

Nah forget that previous title, Boulder says its My Little Pony: A New Generation now.
Sounds like Boruto the next generation, lol I don't like it because it implies a sameness to the g4/FiM world...basically just a continuation of that with new characters. I mean, it's something we all suspected all along, but the confirmation is a let-down. I was hoping for something completely new and exciting. Guess Hasbro didn't want to let go of that sweet FiM money.
I thought that's what it was? And it is a new generation, with new characters.
It is a new generation with new characters but in the same world as FiM, just sometime after the final events of FiM. The official MLP youtube channel now has a handsome Hitch banner

The wings seem strange to add since he is an earth pony (kind of reminds me of the wings on the Wonderbolts badge)

It is my understanding the single row manes were in the first batch released under the Kenner brand. 
Would it have the Kenner stamping on the foot? Because I have Petal Blossom, both are stamped with 1997 Hasbro Inc with one having the single row of hair and one having the two rows  I also recall asking something about this years ago in the community and the answer I got was that this was a common thing among Gen 2 ponies, and that likely the rows deal was because how hard the plastic is so the machine didn't quite like all of them (who knows). I would say we need to look at later releases that were in the UK since in the US Gen 2 stopped in 1998, to see if this same thing happened with those ponies.

I'm noting in the promotional images that the symbols on the ponies are... very hard to see.. I can see a glimpse of Hitch's and Zipp's but they look to be small and further back on the flank in the rinders?

I think Bluth style would work great for MLP. Don Bluth movies had a nice balance between cuteness and darkness (just like the first MLP special, Rescue at Midnight Castle!).

I think Pipp looks cute. I’m not digging Zipp’s hairstyle much.
I am curious about them not having cutie marks in any of the screenshots or animations, if they’ll get them in the movie or if those were just left out of the promos.
I know in the first debut of Sunny I could see her symbol. It was really hard to see though because of where it was. I don't think they will have them on both sides of the pony though (despite the plushies having them on both sides). Notice how 95% of the time they are showing the pony's left flank instead of the right? This is really just a guess though.

They seem to want to keep the build of G4 but change some things... I can't imagine the original G4 wings working in this design (I'm not a hug fan of Pipp's wings... they remind me a little bit of feathered fans). They just cannot win with the style and making wings fit properly.

Absolutely LOVE Zipp, Pipp is quite adorable too- it looks like her wings are covered with clouds? They kind of remind me of Flutter Pony wings actually. And the tiara...I wonder if she's a princess of some sort?
Not super keen on the phone, I expected this generation to be more modern but not THAT modern lol. The hoof-shaped Popsocket on the back of the phone is hilarious though.
Still really not interested in the toys, but the animation and character designs look exceptional- if not still a little too human, imo. Get rid of the eyebrows pls
I recall someone finding the toy information or some sort of information. Pipp is supposed to be something akin to a popstar, so something like the Princess of Pop so to speak. According to a plushie reveal recently, Pipp has a music note symbol with a crown shape on top while Zipp has a 2 colored lightning bolt symbol with again a crown shape on top. (I wonder if they are twins or how far apart in age they are)
