I personally would only deflock if the flocking is extremely thin, or dirty.

I've read that pony cancer is contagious, but honestly, I haven't seen any ponies of mine that have "developed" it when being stored with problem ponies. It's just the plastic breaking down, really, so I don't see how that could spread.
Possibly pindot mould would be something to look out for.

In lieu of the "without flaws" thread, I figured we should also give our most flaw-ful ponies a bit of love. Some problems we just cant fix, like cancer and regrind.
Here are a couple of my prime examples of flawed ponies.

Firstly a pretty typical, white-haired Up, Up, and Away.
