Yup, I've put a response. Something like 'flaw clearly stated in description and no contact before leaving neg' x

Sucks doesn't it hun? You do everything right and still get stung by idiots and eBay won't look after sellers, they're all about the buyer. I keep getting surveys from eBay about their service and I make sure I mention they don't look after their sellers in every one.

Just a little update on this because I don't want fellow sellers getting stung. eBay WON'T amend the feedback. I've been battling with them for a couple of months, mostly out of the principle of the thing TBH. They say that they can't get involved with feedback and it's a buyer's opinion and if they feel it appropriate to leave the feedback then they can. No recourse whatsoever for sellers who state exactly what the flaws are in the descriptions. They even said I needed to state the flaw clearly which I pointed out that I did but then they said I didn't put it in 'item specifics' which is a searchable feature?? What's the point in a description box if you have to put everything in this item specifics thing?? Also I listed some stuff at the weekend and couldn't even find the item specifics thing they were on about. So in the end they told me that any future correspondence from me on this matter would go unanswered because they have made their decision.

So yeah, eBay is a load of rubbish.

Also the entire point of this mini rant is to tell you the name of the buyer: geoathc4

Before I contacted eBay I asked geoathc4 to revise the feedback and even offered a refund if they weren't happy, even though I did nothing wrong and they just ignored my messages so I'd avoid this one if I were you.

Pony Corral / Re: Any tips on drying ponies after a bath?

I've actually never had any issues with getting the tail wet and I don't pop heads off unless they come off easily and the pony needs a good clean inside. I just make sure to put them butt-down on a radiator (on top of a towel) or in the airing cupboard until they are thoroughly dry and any water has run out. I usually leave them 24-48 hours  on a hot radiator.

Yes, they're perfect for G4 brushables and blind bags *nods*.

81
Also yes.

If I felt it had bad vibes when it arrived I'd do some jiggery-pokery type-thing with sage or something to make it stop :)

82
You're so right Navi

Thanks guys :) Not quite so mad now lol

83
I am all kinds of mad right now! I just checked my feedback and I've received negative for a Sprinkles due to 'it having a different head' when the head/body mismatch was CLEARLY stated in the auction! They also didn't bother to contact me about the problem either.

 :argh:

eBay is getting beyond a joke for *slight edit* PL hats lately and I'm getting so sick of it!

I've emailed them to ask them to revise it based on the issue being listed in the description so I'll see what they say but if not at least eBay should remove it as it is stated...

SIGH.

Pony Corral / Re: How to take nice photos of ponies for sale?
« on: March 14, 2015, 10:50:51 AM »
I agree with what others have said about background and lighting.

In the UK we suffer long dark winters but still need to photograph ponies for sale so I invested in a couple of lamps and bought daylight bulbs which help to avoid the yellowing of the ponies, already mentioned. I use two, one at either side but for best results a third in front of and above the pony is good :) It's just a matter of adjusting the two or three lamps until there are no shadows in the area you are photographing.

The TEs are one of my favourite sets :)

I agree with all that others have said about points of concern with the various individual ponies but just to add, Whizzer is SO prone to brown age spots as well as the head/body mismatch already mentioned. I've noticed her hair is prone to some pretty extreme frizz too.

I would definitely buy Arena shopping bags!  ^.^  Or keychain tags. I'd also like a mug/shotglass. Or some large stickers.

All of this!

Anything Arena-y :D
