I personally have never ordered from there so I haven't a clue on how fast or slow they are. I know in my experience though with big retailers they seem to ship when they feel like it, Bath and Body is pretty good for that. I have twice waited a week for my orders to ship. I called and complained the second time and no one seemed to care.

Anyways I am happy to hear you did finally receive an email. I hope they ship soon for you.

Thanks for the heads up! I am glad you thought it through and did not send him any money. I think you dodged the bullet for sure.

Just a reminder we do not allow personal information to posted, such as last names and email address.

Agreed that they go to eBay. But I've also heard people say that some of the scammers show up on Facebook. Sometimes they try to come back to the Arena under a different name or go to the TP. But they always seem to show up again unfortunately.

This I have seen a ton show-up on FB, and I cringe. As far as showing back up here, yep they sure do but they usually do something stupid to get them self caught. We have a pretty good gatekeeper around here though. So most of the time they are stopped in their tracks before they can get comfy.

Thanks Little White Horse and Miss Pompon!

I know personally I have never had any issues sending to France. I think everything will work out just fine.  :)

Trader & Shipping Support / Re: International tracking?

I apologize that I didn't answer sooner. I have family issues that are taking up most of my time right now.   :(

USPS International Express is the only real guarantee. It's expensive, but it does come with guaranteed tracking/signature confirmation.  Although when you ship any way international, they make you fill out a customs form.  The customs form comes with a number, which also works as a tracking number to some countries. I can't think right off the top of my head if Sweden is one of those countries though. Anyways the customs form number is your tracking number (First Class/Priority).  I've shipped overseas via the cheapest service(First Class) many times and the customs form number tracked almost all of the time.  As I said before there are some countries it will not so I would check first before using the cheaper method.

I shall give you a bump up! Good Luck! I hope you are able to find someone soon  :)

I feel your pain

The unfortunate thing is I am not sure eBay will do anything about it. They most likely will say the buyer is allowed to leave his opinion.  What you can do in the meantime though is a leave a follow-up comment under his negative feedback. I had a similiar situation a year or so ago and eBay basically said to bad. The only way they will remove something like that is if the package shows as delivered and they stated something along the lines of "item never received" in their feedback.

In my personal opnion, Ebay needs a policy on feedback. If the seller ships in his window and the tracking shows,  he should get a top shipping rating and if a neg is left for shipping time it should be removed. It's not fair to be rated on something we have no control over.

Trader & Shipping Support / Re: Strange new paypal scam?

I have had a ton of these over the years so nothing surprises me.  Emails from PayPal will always address you by your first and last name or the business name associated with your PayPal account. A PayPal scam email almost always includes the salutation "Dear PayPal User" or "Dear PayPal Member",  so unless your business name or your real name is included in the email, it's a phishing email. Do not fall for it!

Also PayPal emails will never ask you to download an attachment or a software program. An attachment found in a PayPal scam email will often contain a virus that can harm your computer or compromise your PayPal account. Lastly if they do require information from you, they will notify you in an email and request that you enter the information only after you have safely and securely logged in to your PayPal account.

I have a Bill Me Later account, which has actually been renamed Paypal Credit since and I had to sign up and be approved for. I was not able to just click and automatically have a credit line though. PayPal users who inadvertently hit the wrong confirmation button when making a purchase should see another website open that strictly deals with opening a BillMeLater (PayPal Credit Acct), so they have the option to immediately opt-out and pay with their personal bank account/etc. through PayPal. They still have to be approved, they do not automatically open a credit line for you just because you have a Paypal account or should I say they should not have been able to. It seems to me Paypal made a huge Boo-Boo there if they were.

Huh. Guy needs a camera.
  XD No doubt!

This is one of my biggest pet peeves! I would definitely, as Ringlets suggested, contact SBR and let her know.

I think asking them for pictures was perfect. I would wait till they send them then and go from there? If it was in fact damaged I would either offer her a partial/full refund or have her send it back for a full refund. The choice is going to be up to you.

If she does not provide pictures then I would tell her tough luck.
