I usually do ask for a deposit to get on the list yes. :)  That way I can buy all the supplies and be ready to sew immediately when your slot comes up.

Why don't you drop me an e-mail to [email protected] and we can work out the details?

Hmmm.  I might be able to do it.  I can certainly make pony plushes, but I'm not as good with clothing, which I assume this will need to have.

Also, my project list is really full right now, so this would take a long time to make, but if you aren't in any hurry then I might be able to help you out.

Here's the price list from my commissions page. These would be the base prices for the plush itself, without any clothing or accessories added.

Pony Loonakit blobs: $35 http://www.sparkcostumes.com/gallery/albums/userpics/DSCN1920.JPG
Blobs are about six inches tall.
Teeny Tiny Ponies: $40 http://www.sparkcostumes.com/photos/albums/userpics/DSCN1777.JPG
Teeny ponies are four inches tall.
Pony beanies: $100 http://www.sparkcostumes.com/photos/albums/userpics/DSCN2061.JPG
Pony beanies are 18" long, though I am working on a cheaper 9" pattern.
Big pony plushes: $150 http://www.sparkcostumes.com/photos/albums/userpics/DSCN1758.JPG
Big ponies are two feet tall, though I am working on a cheaper one foot pattern.
GIANT pony plushes: $800 http://www.sparkcostumes.com/photos/albums/userpics/DSCN1946.JPG
Giant ponies are FOUR FEET tall, they are seriously huge.  These cannot be shipped overseas, US buyers only.

Customs / Rainbow Dash blob plush
« on: January 31, 2012, 08:13:06 PM »
This is what I call a "Loonakit", which is a blob-style of plush I've been making for ages.  The first one looked like a Loony Kitten, so Loonakit.   Anyhow, I've been doing pony character ones recently, and I just finished a Rainbow Dash.

Traditional customs - Closed

Links to examples of your work: Here are my traditional customs.  See below for examples of my plushes. :)  http://www.sparkcostumes.com/artwork/thumbnails.php?album=12

Specialties: Plush ponies! (And non-ponies too.)
Here is a gallery of original plushes I've made: http://www.sparkcostumes.com/gallery/index.php?cat=3
And here is a gallery of fan-art plushes I've made, which includes many ponies: http://www.sparkcostumes.com/photos/thumbnails.php?album=8

Pricing Details:
I've compiled a list of prices and examples here:
http://www.sparkcostumes.com/ponyprice.html

Shipping Details: I ship anywhere in the world (except the giant plushes, which are too big) Shipping is not included in prices.  Shipping costs depend on size and location being shipped to.

Payment Details: I accept paypal, check, or money order.  I prefer half down and half on completion, but I am somewhat flexible about payment plans, so if you'd prefer some other arrangement, just ask.

I should mention that making plushes is my full time job.  Thus  my commission list tends to be VERY long, since I prefer to keep it as full as possible, to insure a steady income!  However I do make my way through plush projects fairly quickly, and smaller ones in particular can be completed in a month or two.  Larger projects may take 6-9 months.

That is an extremely well made plushie. The proportions are awesome and she looks so soft and on model.^^ I wish I knew how to make plushies. How much are your commissions anyway?

Depends on what you want to get, but an 18" beanie like this is $100.  (Base price, things like the alicorns, or zebras, or with complicated designs may be a little more.)

She is adorable!!!  :lovey:  What is minky?

It's a ridiculously soft and cuddly fabric.  Way better than fleece or felt, imho.

I'm really not sure if plushes are art, or customs.  They're not drawings, but then they're not made from an old pony either.  But for now I guess I'm posting about them here. :)

Anyway, this is one I just finished.

She's about 18" long, and made from minky so she's very soft.

I am taking pony plush commissions, btw.
