Hello, everyone!

Long time, no see. As you can see by my account info, I've been a member pretty much since the beginning of the Arena. And I was active for a very long time. My life kinda fell apart at the end of 2014/beginning of 2015 and posting on forums fell away as I rebuilt. I never left my love for Pony, though and still attended many conventions and meets! I just became less active online. I'm hoping to fix that now, thanks to the marvelous Rainbow Dash hanging out with me at TrotCon 2021!

In the convention world, I'm known as the NewGrayMare or Mari Lwyd. I don't see much point changing my username here from Eskara because that's what I've been known as here forever! I'm an expert at restoration and customization and loooooove to find horrible condition ponies to return to their glory. I run a business selling vintage toys at my website The New Gray Mare. I've collected ponies since I was 3 and Baby Quackers was the first one I ever remember receiving as a birthday gift. Don't ask for an exact number in the collection; I refuse to count and know it's "in the hundreds."

As for me, personally? I'm a crazy swamp witch with seven cats, one dog, and a strange sense of humor. I like to do things that I find amusing (and mostly harmless. mostly), go out in nature for long hikes and swim in waterfalls, and generally lead the life I always dreamed of since I was a little kid.

Sometimes, it takes everything falling apart to start fresh and build what you've always wanted I'm happy to be home in the world of online Pony friends!

Oh, yeah, they absolutely stain! Surprise is really bad about it. I figure if they're MIB, that's just a flaw of being MIB.

Yeah, I was VERY much into buying ponies new in stores when G3s were around. I had the hardest time tracking down ANY of the birthflowers. TRUs were also closing some stores and there were only like three in my city, so that didn't help with finding them at all. When I've found them loose in the past couple years, they pretty much all sell immediately for about $50.

As a side note, I have November Nights and March Mischief for sale MIB if you're actively hunting them.

I've got a Medly and Applejack for sure. I feel like I have more Bowtie, but the site says I'm out. I'll go have a look through the box and update the quantity to show some in stock if I find her!

Edit- Found TWO Bowties! They're my last ones and when they're gone, they're gone.

I gave up and ordered my Fizzy from Walmart. I figured that paying the extra $3 was worth it in gas saved from hunting her down!
