Pony Corral / Re: Your opinion on tinsel in pony hair?
« on: December 14, 2014, 12:44:16 PM »
The crinkled tinsel really is a thorn in my eye, lol, but I do like the tinsel on the G1 princesses. Not to fond of the big chunks of tinsel sticking out of their foreheads though, but I like it when it's in their mane.

Introductions / Re-introducting once again ;-)

Hi everyone!

The people who have been around here for a long time have seen me come and go, but I thought it would be best to put in a small word here before I start posting again (and hopefully be active a lot more).
I'm a 28 year old collector from the Netherlands. I have been collecting ever since I was a kid and I just never stopped doing so. I still have my childhood ponies and I love them a lot :) I am unsure of the number of ponies my collection currently holds, but I guess anywhere between 250 and 400. I mostly collect G1 and G1 merchandise, but also G3 and the occasional G3.5 and G4. Besides ponies I love music (singing, playing the piano, rock 'n roll dancing), reading, various crafts and my five cats.

I've been on and off for various (personal) reasons and I hope to be back and active again for a long time now. I am both working and in school so sometimes it's hard to find time for my hobbies. My MLP have been in storage for over a year and yesterday I started unpacking them. I was so thrilled!
The happiness and serenity that came over me when I was busy organizing and unpacking made me realise how much I've missed this. Missed you all a lot and hopefully we'll talk again soon :)

I am not going any where folks, just do not have enough free time to do all I need too.  The cellar is still mine and you shall still find me wandering around the shout box.
Good to hear! :)

Welcome to the arena! Sounds like she might have been a birthflower pony (though those did not have white streaks in their hair).

Sure I will, thanks! I had a glass cabinet when I lived with my parents but only for my HTF and nirvana ponies and my childhood ponies. If I do get the ikea bookcases I can also buy the glass doors over time so it's not that big of a sum at a single time. How do you display your playsets? I have a few boxed ones and they won't fit in a cabinet..
