I honestly looked at it and felt confused.

I would like to see g1 versions of the m6 and g4 versions of theirr g1 antecedents but...

Not sure what that is.

For a parent company to be upstaged by a franchised producer like bf is a bit sad as regards poses but...

Those are not g1 or g4. I don't really know what they are or how I feel seeing them.  I do like the g1 Twilight Sparkle on the box though.
G3.14 :P

Fizzy is feeling unwanted.

Well, that was boring and hard to keep going through.  I would rather watch the storm passing over than that.  I agree with those who said this should have been 44 minutes.  It was too drawn out.

And does no one in Equestria know or care what a terrible person Rainbow Dash actually is?
To think some actually look up to her like she's the best in the world.

There's apparently merch coming based on the Rainbow Roadtrip special but it appears to be reused merch.

Hasbro staff: Why not include a green pony in the main cast?
Hasbro CEO: No. Green ponies are not what little girls want as they remind them of the yucky green swamp. We need to only use ponies that make them think of cupcakes with frosting on top.

Hmm, seems it WAS dubbed in another language, albeit illegally: https://www.youtube.com/watch?time_continue=7&v=7h28uH75Elc

Wow that special was... really boring.
I think the animation was nice to look at but felt overall slower than the movie. I am not talking about the budget cuts but just the way the ponies moved and emoted.
The song about the rainbow village was not good. I just... it sounded like it was improvised? I literally fell asleep to it, woke up half an hour later to turn off the computer then finished it today. Really did not expect to be so underwhelmed.
Maybe I shouldn't have expected "MLP movie" from something that just uses its style.
Agreed. Rainbow Dash made it unbearable for the 1st 15 minutes and it only marginally got better. There was also that lame reason behind the town's ordeal "No, we had no issues with the rainbow device. We just stopped caring". Seriously? That's the ENTIRE reason behind the lack of color? At least The Runaway Rainbow had a better explanation. Rarity's job wasn't done and consequently everything suffered.

Also saw it.

It had a good message. Like always, EqG has more organic messages due to the low quantity of specials. They can put more thought into a single one, I guess. But it wasn't as epic as it could have been.

Now about my biggest question - it got answered!

Spoiler
The Dazzlings are still antagonists, I was so glad! And they are still the sirens because they called the audience "human scum", the music video is misleading.
Just too bad they just had a cameo, basically. I would have loved to see more story regarding them.

Overall, I usually dislike how Pinkie is the only one who gets to live her character flaws all the time. She is so annoying.
Spoiler
I realize that's just how she is supposed to be. "Laughter" is supposed to be shrill annoying shrieking, randomness and a kind of hyperactivity that would get someone put on certain meds real quick irl :P
But she is just too much for me sometimes and I really felt Sunset getting aggravated at her shenanigans. I've been there. Sunset had a good reason to get more and more pissed. Not everything was about Sunset's need for perfection. The churro bit was Pinkie messing up completely and a little "I'm sorry" wasn't enough. I mean, Pinkie actively ruined their night, nothing about it was Sunset's fault. Girl ran straight up into a cart and knocked a bunch of hot food over getting them kicked out - I wouldn't have laughed that off if I was her friend. I would have been really enraged.
But Sunset is the reformed baddie so she always has to be voice of reason and put the M6 needs first.
That's why I like Starlight better. She gets to have friends besides the M6 so she can break out sometimes. Sunset is chained to the Rainbooms
Spoiler
The song was kind of a letdown because the beginning was completely different than the main chorus, which I loved. Wish the entire song was like the chorus.

Spoiler
Well I've seen the early release on Dailymotion and it's good, much better than the recent shorts and even the previous specials.

ThisTwilight compilation shows off how obsessed the animators are with associating losing your mind with having lazy eyes...

The one in the bottom right corner looks hilariously stupid. Where's that from? She looks like an evil hag
Lesson Zero :)

I think if you look into Twilight's head, there's nothing by a frayed wire periodically sparking.

Though, I think that's an exhaustive statement for characters in this show.  They all are in desperate need for therapy, and not the tripe a certain lupine charlatan doles out.
So that's what she meant when she talked about the spark in Episode 1.

Well her second name is Sparkle, so...
Might as well name her Short-Circuit instead.

Bats and Snakes in Winter Wrap Up, quesadillas in Party Pooped, and ladybugs in that inter season short Starlight the Hypnotist.
Good to know that they were always useless from start to finish. I'm so glad we don't live in Equestria.

That was another thing that bothered me. A 1000 year old princess that has royal duties and raises the sun.....is afraid of a completely harmless chicken?

Well there's also a princess afraid of bats, snakes, quesadillas, and ladybugs.
Who? Bats and Snakes are at least partially understandable.
