Thanks for yours kind returns!
If you've got horses, share it there too, everyone is welcome!

I thinks that the western horse never came to the EU, so I'm not sure I would have one.
Also, yes thoses horses are fabulous, I'm really ashammed they are now so ugly. Mattel missed somethin' at a certain point.

Beautiful! Your photos are magnificent! Do you print all those perfect backgrounds? Or is it photoshopped?
I have some of those too but they don't look half as nice as yours.

My background are prints, the floors are artificials ones.
The picture with the dream carriage, harnessed to two horse is all real, it was taken in the garden.

Barbie horse are difficult to found in great shape, for sure.

Here's my "ponies", they where released in 1998 with the walking beauty.
Appaloosa is Sassy, Cremello is Sweety and Palomino is Baby.

Off Topic / Re: Where do you go to make new friends as an adult?
« on: March 02, 2020, 11:51:12 PM »
I mostly found new friends at the barn, so yes, with a "public" activity you found people, and there's ok to speak with you because you share a common activity.

I'm a huge asocial and don't like to met new people, so I made friends via internet (they usually then, lives far from me - most of my friends lives far and we saw each other maybe twice a year or more with some luck), but it exist forums and group for your area I guess.
I'm ok with my way of living mostly alone now - I've lived a looong time with roomates, this helps too meeting new peoples in addition to makes your life cheapest. And if you've got at least one close friend in your area, you can try to met it's friends too.

The pink is a very pale salmon to me, but I'll be curious to see some brighest pink on a Twilight if you dare to change from the original tone

Also I found this, and id say the color of her symbol is like "gentian sw6817"

I just checked on mine, and yes, the lilac on the pink stripped one looks a LITTLE BIT blueish.
But that's really, really hard to tell.

Some are really cool, like Bowtie.
I love the white coloring that looks like real ponies.

Off Topic / Re: Do you shut down your PC or laptop, or leave it on?
« on: February 29, 2020, 10:19:44 AM »
I shut it down, everytime I'm done with it. Even if that mean I'm going to restart it twice or more a day.
It's important for the computer and for the planet.

I never let any electronic in "sleep" mode, it's way too energivore.

Arts & Crafts Corral / Re: so do you diy things for your house?
« on: February 29, 2020, 09:12:14 AM »
I've made some shelves myself, because I couldn't found what I wanted in shops.
Seems like no bookshelf are actually made for pocket books and/or for people who have a LOTS of books (same problem with Manga, almost same problem with BD/Comics). So I did it myself.

I do not really do a lot of DIY, I prefers to thrift what I need.
In fact, I only do what I need or want that I cannot found, like I did embroidery and sewing with a old MLP fabric to have a bed cover.

But my mother loves to do patchwork, that for sure take a lot of time!

Thanks you!

Here's the 80's horses...

I'll start with my absolute favorite of all Barbie horses:

Sun Runner (1989), qui est donc forcément le seul appaloosa de l'écurie...

I've got 3 of them. The first one was thrifted for me by a German collector friend:

And two that I thrifted myself,
Dark spots:

With Barbie "Western Fun"

And regular spots:

That's not complete, I've got the brown Dallas and all the articulated Dallas too, but I need to take their picture!
I'll do it soon

Thanks you two!
Western Star is beautiful, saddly not an European release, so I've got like no chance to found it there!

As I'm a 90's child, I'll start with my 90's horses (but I've got some from the 80's and the 2000's as well)!!

Snowdancer (Ski Fun Blizzard 1991) with Snowball (the dog)
-Got this one as a child, it was my favorite-

Came with a carriage...

visitors can't see pics , please register or login

that can turn to a sleigh!

visitors can't see pics , please register or login

Lucky (1991)

visitors can't see pics , please register or login

Champion (1991)

He came with a riding outfit:

Diva (Rosebud 1991)

she came with a carriage, dark pink equipment:
visitors can't see pics , please register or login

Or by herself, light pink equipment. (I replaced the saddle pad myself, it's not the original)
visitors can't see pics , please register or login

Star Stepper (1991)

Trailer Horse (1993)
-Also got this one as a child for sure!-

Prancing Horse (1994)

with her carriage:

Do you prefers to see the 80's next or the 2000's horses?

I've voted. I'm not for, because of room and how expensive it is to bough that much the same pony, but if some people likes them, that's fine. We all have our own way of collecting

Hi!
I was thinking about sharing my Barbie Horse collection, it's the only one where I hunt all the accessories!

When I was a kid, I was crazy about these, and now I collect them

To start, I present you my childhood herd:
Nibbles from 1995, my first one!

visitors can't see pics , please register or login

I've found one in better shape than my childhood one, I got her as a child with a rider Barbie and a stable:

Eating Fun Daisy, from 1998, who was my last one:

I'm only missing her flowers...
visitors can't see pics , please register or login

Here's a pic I took of them both, as they are my true ones I got as a child and kept all that time!
visitors can't see pics , please register or login

Another one I got as I child (and who's the real childhood one), the pony Sassy, from 1998:

visitors can't see pics , please register or login

But in real I got A LOT of thoses as a child, most where thrifted and now, I thrift them back!
Are you interrested to see all my Barbie horse? I'm thinking of presenting them by years
