I used to let my neice play with my g3-g4s, and any g1s in the "to customize" bin. For some reason their hair alllways got greasy after...such is tiny kid hands I guess. I never let her play with my display ponies, and she never seemed bothered. She liked looking at them all pretty :+) she had a bin of ponies to play with, she didn't need all of them.

Finally, a potd I have! She was a Xmas gift from my mum a few years ago, who knows nothing about buying ponies, but said she found her at a goodwill and she "looked old". I'm pretty sure her gimmick still works and she's in decent condition :+)

This is such an unusual and cool custom! I've always wondered if masking fluid could be applied to ponies, but never attempted it myself.
I'll be keeping an eye on this! 
yeah me too haha! i havent seen anybody use it on ponies before but i had a pretty good hunch it would work. like i mentioned earlier, beware it is a little resistant to the vinyl. so just lay it on thick and let it dry 100% before painting

I think you're both right, in both listings her right eye looks faded as well. I have to admit I didn't even notice that, I thought if she was exposed to sunlight on one side over a longer period of time then also her body would be unevenly faded, but that doesn't seem the case. It's difficult to tell from these photos though, as the lighting isn't very good on all of them.
some vinyl colors are more susceptible to fading than others :+) white vinyl fades and yellows very easily, but shes a rather odd green-teal color, and so opaque, it probably doesnt fade much at all. Plus, there may be more noticeable demarcation on her body when seen in person. In any case, the paint is more vulnerable to fading than the vinyl on anypony.

Eh, I think a lot of g1 names are boring. I’ll generally take weird, nonsensical or even cruel names over one-word names like Lofty or Fizzy, or straightforward conceptual names like Heart Throb or Cotton Candy.
Also, I never minded Spoiled Milk because it fits her character, what with how sour she is.
well wouldn't you be sour if your name was spoiled milk? LOL! this reminds me all of the fiasco of elon musk and grimes naming their child... X Æ A-Xii? obviously they're just ponies not babies, but it really makes me think about the lore of naming ponies. you must really have it out for your kid to name them spoiled milk, or X Æ A-Xii. pumpkin and pound cake a perfect examples. their last name is cake, right? mr. and ms. cake? so in reality, they named their children Pumpkin and Pound. little weird if you ask me.

i feel like Truly would have made a CUTE pegasus. like a little cupid....<3 fizzy doesn't seem like a unicorn to me...more earth pony. speedy too, matter of fact. why would she need rollerskates if she just had magic? LOL. plus...it would be really cute to see zig zag on a pony mold as opposed to weird midget zebra. oh, theres an idea for my next custom!

It looks like her eye paint is faded on the appropriate side. Her eye is not as faded on her left.
My guess is she was displayed on a shelf or windowsill for a very long time, and got direct sunlight on that one side.

nope dont have her! but i have a few of her sisters. shes not the cutest from the scented line, but she's still sweet! i like pretty pop and coconut grove more. her cutie mark is very cute.

nope, not in my collection! i can't say hes really on my want list. I like scotty dogs, but his colors are sort of drab and im not big on the little brother sculpt. their ball-joint heads are too much of a pain!
