Asking my youngest sister to sort her laundry so I can get that stuff started, or asking her to do anything really, is like pulling teeth. She got to sleep in, she shouldn’t be this grumpy because “she’s tired”. And even if she is tired, that’s no reason to hold up my schedule and my day.

I just bought the new Kirby game for myself, and my sister has decided that she will be the one to play it (even though she didn’t pay or help in any way to get the game) and now she’s refusing to do her chores/tasks. “Why can’t you do it?” She asks when I tell her to do stuff like helping out the groceries away. I am doing it, I’d just like some help because I’m not a servant? I’m a person. Who lives here and also wants to play her game that she bought with her own money.

With all the snow melting, there’s a lot more spring runoff. Which is fine, just means the city has to put more chlorine into the water to compensate for the added volume.
The drinking water now tastes and smells like I’m drinking from a swimming pool.

next prompt: a pony that gives you hope :lovey:
Took a while, but here’s one that gives me hope: Sunny Starscout. My hopes going in for G5 weren’t that great (pony life and the related toys just didn’t sit well with me) but I’m pleased with the direction G5 is going.

Just for fun, I figured I’d ink with markers since I don’t usually ink at all. I’m quite pleased with the result!

For the next prompt…how about a pony wearing something fancy? Like a fancy hat or dress?

Customs / Re: Your supply list!
« on: March 20, 2022, 11:38:24 AM »
I have in my custom supply (also some other doll custom stuff here too) list:
-Nylon hair! So much hair! And a bit of tinsel.
-apoxie sculpt and the required tools
-acrylic paints and paint brushes
-derwent watercolour pencils
-mr.super clear UV cut flat sealant.
-n95 respirator mask (MSC is toxic, and I want to keep my lungs thanks)
-zip ties! I use these to secure new tails in restored/custom ponies, since they can’t rust like the washers do.
-glue, both regular white glue and super glue
-toothbrush (for scrubbing any dirt)
-fabric/sewing supplies (I’m not the best at it, but I’m hoping to get better)
-bits and bobs of random things. Head, torso, shoes, whatever random scraps I could maybe use in the future.
-tinfoil. When I make modifications, sometimes I like to bulk out the shape with a ball of tinfoil. Sculpting medium is expensive and can be heavy, so any way I can cut down on weight and expenses is a good thing to me.

Be me: have plans for other things to do around the house today
Mom: *gives more stuff to do, which then throws off the original list of things to do*
Like dang! All I wanted was to finish my chores and then draw for a while before work but now I have to vacuum too because people walk with their dirty shoes inside.

Here are our family babies, Solo and Chewie. They are both Pomeranians, with Solo being Chewies father as well.

They are very spoiled, enjoy belly rubs, car rides and spending time on the couch. Also pictured is chewies susuu. It used to be an entire sock monkey, but he sucked on one foot so much the leg came off, then he went for the arm, another arm, the leg and the head. Now it’s just a torso that we keep stitching up for him. It’s his most precious possession.

I also have my own pet. His name is Sheldon, and he is a hermit crab who I got 9 years ago.

Sheldon is a strange hermit, where he doesn’t play nice with others and is why he’s on his own in his tank. He’s been thriving on his own for years, and enjoys swimming in his saltwater pool, eating corn, lettuce, grapes, peanut butter and fish flakes, and climbing around and making a mess of his tank for me to clean up.

I was listening to the Minecraft soundtrack while I worked, since I wished to take a break from the usual creepypasta I listen to while working. Big mistake as now my nostalgia tears are clouding my vision.

Pony Corral / Oddly satisfying pony things?
« on: February 23, 2022, 09:42:19 PM »
We all see them. Those videos online of people deep cleaning or running their hands through cool stuff. Those satisfying videos that are just *nice*.
Today, I was cleaning a pony I got from a dear friends mom. It was dirty and the soap bubbles were grey when I got to scrubbing. But she looks absolutely beautiful now that she has that dirt off her.

I dunno if it counts as satisfying, but it was very nice to see the difference in her before and after. So that got me thinking…anybody else have things they do with their ponies that are satisfying?

I tell my sister to finish sorting her clothes soon because I want to get the laundry done sooner rather than later. Rather than follow my request, she watches Netflix while sorting her clothes and goes at a snails pace. Then gets mad at me when I reiterate my request to please have her clothes ready to be washed.

Pony Corral / Re: Pipp Petals Room Reveal pics

Oh I love it! I wasn’t sold on the pony toys themselves, but the detail in this play set is very nice! I’m not a fan of box backdrop toys, so that’s a minus, but the accessories make up for it! That tiny pipp doll for pipp is just adorable!

@ponyfan yikes. That’s how my family is sometimes. Ponies give us powers, but I have yet to get mind reading ones.

In other news, I was singing a silly song to my dogs (you know, what you do with cute pets and calling them a beautiful baby bean) and they started fighting right in front of me. I know my singing is bad but is it really that bad?

Behold space themed ponies in space singing space songs!

Been a while since I used pencil and paper. Feels good to go back after so much digital work.
For the next prompt….how about your favourite villain/antagonist from any generation of pony. Could be tirek, maybe starlight glimmer, or even the smooze. I just think it’s time we give the bad guys some love here.

Ohhh I love the shredding powder!
If it’s okay, can I (someone who has an addiction to space ponies) take the space pony prompt?
