I love Vegeta, though! Definitely my fav character. I'm a sucker for the bad-asses. Oh, and I may or may not be in love with Future Trunks. ;)
Vegeta and Trunks, eh? Yeah, certainly the two characters with most fangirls  :satisfied:

2.Who's your favourite villain?

>> You're not gonna like my answer but.... Frieza. I know he's not the strongest villain or anything but it's more a combination of his design and his personality, really. Not much to say about his design, I just adore it. (His race is a pretty interesting enigma, too.) Before most of the villains became just something else to fight Frieza was that first big galactic threat that made everyone wet themselves and he KNEW it. All of the DBZ villains are cocky and trash talk (what villain doesn't?) But his smugness is a bit charming, maybe it's the spoiled regal attitude behind it?

It's okay, I probably don't like Frieza because Toriyama made it out of all his fears. Which is awesome, don't get me wrong, but I feel like what he fears is not what most people do fear.

I know that he fears homosexual people (Every time homosexuality is referenced on DB is always from a villain or a guy who's just plain creepy xD), but in Frieza, the lipstick was ridiculous. I also didn't like how much OP he was at the very beginning. The other villains were strong because by their own traps they had became stronger than the Z-Fighters.

Frieza was just made up as a strong dude, and they overhyped him way too much. He also had a very generic motivation (galactic conquest, really?) and he offered nothing new from many other tyrannical villains in fictional history (Darth Vader comes to mind). And in the end, he causes his own destruction and dies in the most pathetic way possible.

Every other villain died in glory, but Frieza either would have died in a pretty dull way on Namek or permanently destroyed by Trunks on his return to Earth. He literally dies 10 minutes after arriving to Earh...

I do blame Funimation studios for their dubbing with Frieza. It's laughable, and you cannot take seriously.

I do remember this baddie leaving some impact on me, but the fact that I started on the Cell Saga, probably changed my mind towards Frieza, since Cell is kind of the opposite character.

I still respect this character. Even after he died he was mentioned many times later on the other two sagas on DBZ or in DBGT a couple of times. And they're resurrecting him for the next movie, ain't that awesome?

Overall, the character is great and memorable, but personally, he's the Krillin of all the villains.

Also, EVERY main dragonball Z villain is ridiculously overpowered when they are first introduced.  They need to be if our fighters are going to have to strive to become stronger to beat them. How anit-climatcic would it be if a villain who is supposed to cause problems for our Z-fighters for a season or more couldn't even hold his own against the main characters in the first fight he was introduced? It'd be more like a 'Scheme of the Week' type villain "Decepticons retreat! I'll get you next time Gadget!"

Cell started as a weakling. The only reason he had any strength to begin with is because of how he was made, our of many strong people, with also some energy from people he had previously absorbed.
And Buu too. At the beginning he was a joke. A fat baby pink happy monster, but then turns into a bloodlusted chaotic machine. More than a challenge, sure, but he was originally not too strong to begin with.

Imperfect Cell slipped my mind but Buu was a super-powered killer from the get-go. Child-like does not a weakling make in the Dragbonall universe. Buu is an ancient evil creature that's been around for like... ever. x-x He takes on the forms or sheds them depending who or what he absorbs or regurgitates. He was "Kid" while Bibidi had him and before he absorbed one of the higher Kais. That Kai had a similar personality which lead to Buu having more of a whimsical personality. He was taking down literal gods before he gave Earth a visit. I'd say that's a pretty serious threat, regardless of whether or not he looks like a fat baby. x-x Some of the most unassuming of creatures can often have the worst bites or stings.

He's very cute, though.

I would marry Piccolo if I could.  No joke.  I am so in love with him that even my husband casually refers to him as my boyfriend.  For real.

That's hilarious!

Hard to choose. I guess lion. I prefer big kitties over horses.

I mean, it's a lion. It has huge teeth, huge claws, huge body, huge muscles, huge mane, what is there to not love?

I don't know if this has been done before. But heck, MLP was one of the many things in my childhood, and it shares place my heart along things like Disney, and of course, Dragon Ball.

I think this kind of thread is allowed, I haven't seen any rule that goes against this, so here it is. In this thread anything can be talked about, the merchandise, DBZ, DBGT, the videogames, the upcoming movies, etc.

First, a few questions:

1.Who's your favourite main character?

My response, Piccolo. First, he was an evil baddie, but then he turned good and still was a great warrior.

2.Who's your favourite villain?

From the original story, Cell and Buu. Never liked Frieza that much. From DBGT, Baby and the Shadow Dragons, and from the movies, Janemba, Garlic Jr and Dr.Willow.

3.What's your favourite Saga?

Android Saga. It was the darkest, and the one I was introduced as a kid first.

4.What scene was the one that made you cry the most?

Piccolo's death in DBGT. The other death scenes were great, because they showed that the warriors were strong enough to never fear death. But the one in DBGT was heart-breaking, because Piccolo was accepting his own doom.

5.What's your favourite DB movie?

The one that presented Bardock, the one where Goku and Vegeta fuse into Gogeta and Battle of Gods.

6.What's your favourite fight scene?

I don't think there was ever a bad fight scene on DB, DBZ and DBGT.

7.If you had Shenron in front of you, what would be your wish?

MOAR WISHES!

Godzilla vs. Mecha Godzilla.... lawl XD

HEY, HOLD ON A SECOND! NO ONE INSULTS THE KING OF THE MONSTERS ON MY WA-! Oh, wait, Godzilla VS Mecha-Godzilla from the Showa series, from 1975?

Yeah, terribly cheesy but enjoyable movie. The Godzilla from 1956 to 1977 was more for kids though, so it's kind of excusable.

Sorry nothing beats out Human Centipede for me.....Who the heck thought to themselves, "yep this is my breakthrough into the big times...I am going to play the middle person in the centipede! That is how I am going to get famous!"
To be fair, the movie is done well, the concept is just so awful and disgusting it's impossible to watch.
It's up there with Cannibal Holocaust and A Serbian Film as one of the most horrible movies ever in the sense of being unwatchable, in the sense, it's too disgusting for people with innocent minds.

Whoever is reading this, do yourself a favour and DON'T watch "A Serbian Film". I warn you, that movie is going to destroy you mentally.

Dragonball : Evolution (Live action), oh my I cannot express how awful it was!  -_-
Oh, yeah... Even as a fan of DBZ trying not to bash on the movie, it's still hard to not say that it's the WORST adaptation I've ever seen.

Roshi and Piccolo were the only enjoyable cheesy things in the movie. Heck, not even the effects were in the least decent.

I remember walking out the theaters after watching the movie and I immediately forgot everything about it. Every scene, every character. DBE is the biggest insult to part of my childhood. Up there with the 1998 Godzilla remake, which was just as bad, but with more redeemable qualities.

I've seen a lot of bad ones but one that sticks to my mind is the Halloween remake by Rob Zombie.  No offense to Rob Zombie fans but that movie was horrible.  I'm a fan of the classic horror movies and we ended up seeing this in theaters.  Waste of money.  I hate how they have sex and overly done gore in horror movies.  It's stupid.
TOTALLY agree. Halloween 1 & 2 were fantastic horror movies, and Michael Myers was surprisingly scary, in comparison with his other horror rivals Jason Voorhees, Freddy Krueger and Leatherface.

Halloween 3 ruined the franchise and then came Rob Zombie to destroy it with his unwatchable remakes.

Even the Friday of 13th reboot was better, and Michael Bay worked on that film!

You know another terrible animated movie?  Bee Movie.  I think I might hate that one more than Food Fight, just for the "you know who hates bees, beekeepers!" plot.  It's so stupid and the jokes are stupid.

I completely disagree there, Bee Movie is quite enjoyable and has good plots and characters, and is very original and creative.

The only problem with this movie is that it's too childish, but that is my only nitpick. The Nostalgia Critic sums up why this movie is one of Dreamworks' best works:

Pony Corral / Re: When will G4 end? And how we will know it?

A couple of years, maybe a decade. We can't really give an exact number, some Bronies are kinda realizing that the show wasn't that great to begin with and they're leaving it.

Looking at how Hasbro has been dealing with G4 since 2010, my best guess is that it will be as bad as G3.5, because no one will want to work in the project, and the show will be unoriginal, immature and childish. Like G4, only that even with less personalities and mediocre characters.

I don't think they can do anything great to make the franchise more popular than it is now.

10. Kung Fu Panda 1 & 2

Both of them are great tales. By separated... Pretty bland and simple stories.

9.Shrek (All movies)

It went downhill pretty quickly, but they're still quite enjoyable.

8.Madagascar (All movies)

I hope they make more, because this series was getting better and better.

7.Ice Age (All of them)

Very fun, and very interesting. I suggest Ice Age 3 over the rest.

6.Prince of Egypt

It transforms the original bland story into an epic tale of immense size.

5.How the Grinch stole Christmas

One of the greatest classics from the 60s, and Dr. Seuss' best work.

4.The Thief and the Cobbler

This is a great movie, animation and story-wise. It's bizarre but very original and inventive. It inspired the Disney movie Aladdin, and the director himself said it was his masterpiece. It took him 30 years to finish.

3.Land Before Time

One of the best movies about dinosaurs of all time. Littlefot's mom's death is still as heartbreaking as Mufasa's. Easily Don Bluth's best movie, but the rest are great too.

2.The Road to El Dorado

This movie is gold. It has great comedy, great animation, great characters, and a great moral.

1.The Iron Giant

An underrated masterpiece, very realistic, very original, it's near perfection, if not more than that.

Some others:
-Most of DBZ movies
-Watership Down
-We're Back! A Dinosaur's story!
-Pokémon: The Movie
-Care bears (1,2,3)
-My Little Pony: The Movie
-Spirit: Stallion of Cimarron
-Plague Dogs
-Mort & Phil VS Jimmy the Randy (My all-time favourite movie)
