Powder, BBE Gusty, Mainsail, G2 Dainty Dove... some G2 whose symbol is a bunch of grapes. And a G4 Applejack w/ bangs. Powder's got some unpleasant scum in her mane, as well as a case of tail rust. Wonder what's growing inside her... Also found a Show Stable at that same mall, decent condition. I"ve no room in my collection for larger playsets though.

Found these in a basket full of G1 ponies at an antique mall. Are they actually G1 accessories? Worth buying?

Wouldn't mind one of these. Applejack's still my favorite pony from any generation. Nearest Targets are 70ish miles east of me, I don't see myself going to that area anytime soon. Would it be better to make a post in the Wanted forum? Or is this a hint enough...

I feel that Bonnie at the very least said that it would be nice if girls and boys could enjoy My Little Pony, though I don't know if she literally said she planned on it being for both. Or it could have been that she was pleased to hear that boys liked it - I'm sure she touched on this subject in one way or another.
Forget exactly what Bonnie said... someone did ask her thoughts on the brony fandom, was some kind of compliment/respect thing

Swarovski crystals seem to be a popular choice. Though the smallest size available on Amazon is 3-3.1mm... which appears to be exactly the same size, or maybe too big. Least when I tried to measure with a standard ruler. Will this be alright?
What color crystal is best to use? I've only got two G2s, and both seem to be some variety of pink crystals.
And how would one attach the crystals? A tiny bit of superglue?
Thanks

Favorite episode: Perfect Pear. Hands down. Pear Butter is adorable. Best pony mom. That and the song/episode make me cry every time I watch it.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=R5r8_79x3Z0Just found this channel on youtube, he finds rusty antiques at junkyards and polishes them up so they're like new. Polishes whatever he can, even goes so far as to machine his own parts when needed. Love his attention to detail. And a different channel which does similar restorations, rescued an actual pony. The before/after pics of these restorations are amazing, from clumped up muddy hair to a very beautiful animal. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pylD-QCHfNs

I'll consider em if found. Most of my purchases are from thrift stores, ponies from any generation that I don't have are kinda dirty.
Found a G1 Moondancer with non-symmetrical symbols (Pretty sure she's not an italian variant) and a G4 FS Miss Pommel with a section of bangs that's two inches too long than the rest. Haven't seen anypony with missing symbols or messed up eyes.

Ruby Lips here is about as filthy inside and out. Windy, Sundance and the Ursa aren't too bad looking. Found one G1 with evidence of rust and some unpleasant looking black scum around every one of her hair plugs. I didn't buy her this time, was afraid of what she would look like inside. Ruby Lips after cleaning The rest of the crew. Ursa had some markings I couldn't get off, not even with a magic eraser.

-Buy a Velvet Remedy plush at Bronycon this year -Slowly clean out this antique store in TN of all their G1 and G2's -wonder where I'm gonna put said G1's... I have one bookshelf dedicated to G1's, only has room for around 7. All other shelf space is taken up by other gen MLP toys

Started out strong, had a focus on Applejack merchandise (Both official and fan-made) about a year or two into the height of the G4 fandom. Slowed down significantly nowadays, I'm not a fan of the newer G4 molds. Besides, older gen MLP toys actually look like ponies, G4's kinda remind me of mice.

Thanks everyone. Merry Christmas! Here's part of my haul, TE Sweet Stuff, Bowtie and Parasol. I already have Parasol and Bowtie, I'll probably just clean them up and sell em. Sweet Stuff's gonna require more work, I can see some rust stains on her tail. Eyup, least it cleaned off eventually Bowtie and Parasol cleaned up well, I'm keeping that Bowtie (I found another a year or two ago, that one came with a haircut, and I'll probably sell it later). And there's Sweet Stuff looking pretty sweet

Got em all cleaned up and put back together. Updated the top of my first post with new pics. Give it a week, I'll probably buy some more to clean up.

Only time I use oxiclean is to deal with rust.
So when you replace rusty washers with zip ties, should you put the zip ties on before conditioning/combing the tail hair? I'd like to smooth out as much as I can, but doesn't seem possible considering what a tangled mess Scoot's tail is.
