Sorry as stated in my latest post and original post I am only looking to do trades at the moment & only for ponies marked in ORANGE or items under 'also interested in'... and even then it depends on who/what you have to trade & who/what you would like to trade for from me.

At the moment I don't have much spare time to re-hair either, if this changes though shall let you know  ^.^

Just to add: my trades thread had not been updated since feb... just did a brief update best to read wishlist only (or latest post on wishlist) for what I am looking for at the moment.  ^.^

Open for trades (not for long though) can trade for almost anything on our Wickstead's website or possibly part trades.
Mainly looking for ones in orange or ones under the 'also looking for' spoiler.. mainly Catan games....

Trades will not be open for that long ....
probably closing them mid September 2018.

Personally I would say stay well away from Etsy.... We are pretty much done with them now. They have messed us around so much... Lost us thousands of pounds with all their changes delays and blocking of our country in other countries ... They don't seem to care about anyone outside the USA  :(

They are no longer the best market place for unique and handmade items. Far too many brand new factory made items listed as 'vintage' or 'handmade' when they are clearly neither.

Etsy is fine to make a little bit of cash... But they have become so greedy now. Especially now with their subscriptions. They take far too much money for what they actually do.

Customers will be the same on every platform really. You may find that Facebook might be a good idea. It's free and there are handmade groups you can join. (pony ones too) with Facebook though make sure payment is always through PayPal it is the safest option for you.

Instagram is quite good too. After all with Etsy to be successful you need to do a lot of promoting yourself on social media. (or pay a lot of money towards Etsy 'ad' listings which they will not show to customers worldwide anyway)

Otherwise there are things like shopify. This is quite a popular market place you have more control too. (or obviously you can go for your own website... But trust me its a lot of hard work... Taken me forever to get ours up and running and im still tweaking  :P)

(It might not be so bad for you with Etsy as you are in the USA & it can work for smaller shops but when you start making more money it is best to get out and expand elsewhere)

Unless Etsy seriously changes and takes notice of the UK and Europe we will not be having big shops on there anymore.

What is Wickstead's?

For those of you who know me already, you may remember that I have been working on this website for a very long time now (feels like forever). I am still changing or improving some bits (I am forever tweaking, i'm so picky :blink: :lol:)

I have designed & created our own website from scratch myself (with some input from mum & help/teaching from my Uncle with a few back-end bits)

What does Wickstead's sell?

Find everything for the quintessential afternoon tea in our Home & Living section. Jewellery from AW Designs UK in Jewels & Treasures . Edibles from Wickstead's Eat Me. As well as everything for the dapper Gentlemen in Mr Wickstead .

We are still in the processes of adding products & will constantly be adding new products. Our collections are constantly changing you never know what you are going to find.  :biggrin:

My Little Ponies (mainly G1's) are in the process of being added & will continue to be added every now and then (still working through which ponies to sell, keep & sorting more pictures for them). My Little Ponies Art & Collectables section under Home & Living ). These will mainly be from Generation 1 but some G2's, G3's possibly G4's may sneak their way onto their too ^.^

In our Quintessentially Unique section you will find a wide range of Eat Me edibles that can be personalised & customised.

We can also design, create & make almost anything edible or even non edible as a Custom Order:

If you would like to Pre-order too, this can also be request in this form. We do offer a discount on our Eat Me Edibles when they are pre-ordered several months in advance  :biggrin: (minimum quantities apply)

Summer 2018 is already fully booked for custom orders from now (July 2018) until October 2018, there are a few spaces left for the Autumn/Winter months this year, not many though, so if you would like a custom request for those months please fill in the form asap.

We are now taking custom & pre-order bookings for 2019 & 2020 though! (few months/select weeks are already fully booked, fill in our custom request form for a quote)
