I've finally got a (bad) photo of my favourites, the complete Sweet Perfume set. They're by no means gem mint (Colorglow and Colormist suffer from faded pink hair) but all have their perfume compacts and uncut hair. I have a number of DB barrettes, too, but none for this set as far as I can tell.

Both of these ladies are stamped under 4 feet; I used to believe the pale drops one is the MO pony. I have posted in a number of threads about the MO/playset 4-stamper issue and always get an answer along these lines. I'm not saying the community necessarily got it right, though... I haven't examined a good sample of MIP ones with my own eyes after all. This is the first time I'm told to look at the eyes.

Leikin's page is a nice first resource, but incomplete and has some errors. I should get my own (eternally WIP) list back online some day -_- There are just too many 2-stampers, I'm probably not even beginning to figure them out and much less able to tell from your description which one you are talking about, but the MO pony seems to have been a 4-stamper.

Sorry, this is one of the days when the abundance of existing Lemon Drops frustrates me. -_-

MLP Nirvana / Re: PC: Takara Fakies and Italy Peachy

The regular Italy Peachy is pretty common and unwanted, especially in Europe where they abound. In good shape she would be a $5 pony to me, yours would unfortunately not be worth much anything - the visibly damaged neck is a big problem.

She's not only gorgeous, but FABULOUS... :fireworks: Haha, I adore the effect of flash on So Softs.

I've been out of the loop for a while, but logged in this morning to discover that that Chip's long awaited brag is up. Chip, I'm sorry to hear you've been having computer problems, but glad that you liked everything. It looks like I was able to send you a new Glider variant?

Shameless plug - here's a scan of the card. The Fairy Tail-esque bird is not as good as I wanted it to be...

Mul-ta: Your Circle Dancer is so pretty.  I wish they made more in that set :)

She's one of my absolute favourites.

I think I have 9 of these ladies at the moment, but only one photo of Circle Dancer w/barrette around.

Pony Corral / Re: Selling collection?
« on: February 14, 2014, 12:59:38 PM »
If you want to be sure your ponies go to other collectors and good homes, sell here on the arena. But if you just want to make as much money as possible, sell on finnish sites. Finnish buyers are crazy.

Agreed... the reason why I've quasi stopped buying from F-land. That said, I'd be more than happy to take that SS Twilight off your hands

Great boxes everyone! Dainty - Woosie's a pretty one, I used not to like Happy Tails but have been warming up to her because of her symbol and color scheme.

...and Mul-ta, yes, Math was never my thing  :) I meant to tell you, Hide one of those ponies from the brag  But I guess I forgot that too. By the way you have one other small extra coming, but you don't have to brag about it  ;) But Im glad you like everything  :) You were fun to shop for and I had so much help from people here on the Arena  :) Thanks Guys for your help~ You know who you are
The Tea has 2 different kinds of tea in it  I was worried you wouldn't like the flavors.

Ha, no way, I have a big mouth and it likes to brag... There's nothing to worry about, no tea is wasted on me!

Pony Brag Arena / Love is in the Air 2014 Valentine's Day Swap Brag Thread

SWAP THREAD

My box arrived last week, and you know the story… I meant to wait till V-Day, but apparently caught a flu, which is a great excuse for ponies. My partner was the fantabulous Tiffymh1fan, who put her heart into making this box (pun intended) and spoiled me rotten. I don't think I could possibly thank her enough, but I shall try!

On the outside, it's a plain box…

…but on opening it, I see this:

My camera has done strange things to the petals - in reality they're not quite that pink, more of a vermillion colour, which I love. Look at the card Tif sent, with a poem, a lock and a key:

Random gifts! The stickers are the cutest thing G3.5 I've seen to this day. I sometimes receive them stuck on US pony mail but don't remember seeing them for sale here. Or maybe it's just me? Plus, chocolate and tea! Tif seems to have instinctively known that I love ginger. ;)

Accessory spam! :drunk: Among other things, a complete Flashprance outfit and a whole bunch of NBT accessories, including a pair of diapers inside the box. I don't think the sun pick is aqua enough to go with Starry Wings but it could be Flurry's. I'm in the process of completing my thrift store Perfume Palace, so the clip and the barrette were very welcome!

Next, I grabbed a beautiful box wrapped with music notes and a ribbon. Due to the shape I never expected to find a pony within, but this lady flew out in a flurry of petals:

A gorgeous Starry Wings! I was flabbergasted because I don't think I even put her on my swap WL, meaning Tif must have been reading my main list instead. What is more, I have a soft spot for yellow ponies. All the accessories were delivered inside felt pouches that somehow did not make it into the accessory photo.

Next up (sorry about the ugly oversaturated photo)…

 OH NO TIF IT WAS SUPPOSED TO BE 2 PONIES CAN YOU COUNT TO 2
One of my favourite pony color combos, pastel yellow with fading pink hair, times two!

And there's a fourth (now Tif seriously where's your elementary arithmetic) - TAF Sundance! (I found the V-Day activity sheet from the bottom of the box.) Sorry about her silly hair, the curls refused to settle. She even has a pink ribbon!

Finally, this photo needed to be taken: the box makes a great V-Day pony display. The hearts ornament was also included in the box. Thank you so much, Tif, you really went above and beyond everything I could have imagined. Happy Valentine's Day to you!

You're welcome. I suppose at least the Trim 'n Grow Beauties with all their gimmicks got an instruction sheet too, but I don't remember ever seeing one of those.

Thanks Wildshadow for posting the pictures! To my knowing there is no art on the boxes, only photos of the toys, and I have never seen any official published DB art whatsoever. There's at least one instruction sheet on MLWiki with a schematic drawing of the toy, not "art" in the same vein.
