That would explain why the box is so well made but the glaze wasn't as good.

I haven't done a lot with pottery but the dripping of the green glaze inside the box makes me think it may be non-commercial.  Perhaps someone took a plate or image of Good Luck Bear and made him into a trinket box or refinished the glaze on the box.  The inside could have been a simple stipple technique.  The bumps around the top look like they could be made to hold the image piece onto the top but the box itself looks professionally made.  Artisan made, at least, I would think.  Of course, I'm just guessing.  I hadn't realized that the early Care Bear stuff wasn't as cutesy.  Now I want to go buy some Care Bear stuff. ;)

What does the bottom of the trinket box look like?  Usually Care Bear stuff is more cutesy, could it be home-made/unofficial merch?  It does look like the original Care Bears.  It's interesting, however it came to be.

Trader & Shipping Support / Re: Held in customs - meaning?

When I've seen it on parcels coming to me, it often means that Canadian customs is still inspecting it and I may or may not have to pay custom fees when it finally arrives.  It usually only holds up my parcels by a day or two but then they continue on their way.  Not sure if it means anything different for other countries.

Baby Moonie's so cute!  As you said, pkw, there are sooo many Moondancers I'll have to start with the adults but please, keep letting me know about babies, too.  Thanks for the information, pinkkittywinks, that really helps get me started.  :)

MLP Nirvana / Looking for information on Moondancers

I've found that I'm really starting to love the Nirvana Moondancers and think I'd like to begin collecting them but I find I know little to nothing about them other than their pretty pictures.  Could you all help me with rough pricing on them and how common they are.  I'm particularly in love with pink hair Argentina Moondancer.  Which ones are the easiest to come by and which ones will I rarely see for sale?  Feel free to share the pretty pictures of any Moondancers you have.

Ok so here's what I know so far:

Italy Moondancer - easiest to find
SA Moondander - Hardest to find
Pink Hair Argie - $100-150

With the exception of Babies Blossom, Glory and Moondancer, my baby ponies are all rather independant and prefer the company of their peers rather then their elders.  I do like your idea of mommies and babies pairing up at your house. :)

I'm not into nirvana's but I have fallen in love with Argentina Moondancer with pink hair.  I love her colours.

I DIY'd a couple.  They're not pretty, but work.  I took those round little mini table looking things that come in the middle of delivered pizza, cut off one peg, cut the other two short and put tape around them to make them thicker and voila, my pony stand up.  Like I said, not pretty but functional.  I would love to have prettier ones that don't break the bank.
