Ah... I seriously believed I responded to your reply maycrestmom - sorry for getitng back to you only now, and a huge THANK YOU for checking, and even taking photos! :tackleglomp: That does seem to be either a perfect, or a totally good enough match to me!

Have you made any progress on your cyborg re-do? I still owe everyone a pic of my completed Una on an EG body, I'll need to get my camera out (and I can see that my previous pics have disappeared together with TinyPic, I need to fix that too...).

I have a yellow "concerned pony" with crappy pink hair and my 2.5 year old son LOVES HIM.  He loves that the pony is crying and throwing a fit I think...

Why toy companies think that little kids only want toys that are smiling is beyond me.
On one hand, this is true. On the other hand though, I do remember having toys with faces that seemed sad to me - I loved them to bits, but by hindsight it was rather a "feeling sorry for them"-induced love. I also felt guilty because of not being able to make them feel happier. Or for not playing with them, when I wanted to play with something else. That's not the type of feeling you want your child to have for longer periods.

I got an order in! Hopefully they don't arrive random. I've wanted a Concerned Pony forever.
Did you get your lot Taxel? I'm rooting for you to get a proper set - or if not the full set pictured, at least the two conerned ponies pictured :)

Pony Corral / Re: The Fakie Appreciation Thread! Show us yer Fakies!

I found some Lanards at the thrift...they're incredibly charming...oh no, what's this? A whole new shelf for them? :P
This thread makes me want to fix my fakie's hair. Maybe I will.
Hehe, I totally understand your affection, Lanards are like that :3 I've owned Lanard fakies already as a child (I still have them), and haven't really found them to be inferior to MLP - they are just different, but also totally charming to me. I think their only inferiority is that they have only a few poses, and the same pose, only with different colours, can become boring after a while. Still tis doesn't stop me from picking up all Lanards I like in colour. The same goes for the fakies of Lanard fakies :)

They seem to resemble Ddung dolls - or rather the fakies of these dolls. The head mold definitely seems to be the same, but the eyes are different. I remember coming across similar dolls in local Chinese shops, mostly sold as keychains, but that's sadly all I know about them...

Oh ok so these are... mischievous (or rather evil. Rarity is definitely more on the evil side) little dragonlings? I was searching my mind for a loooong time until I finally realised what's so familiar in their heads: they look like Plagg's head from Miraculous Ladybug. I like that show, but not this resemblance. These are just... not MLP. I think that is all I can say about them, which might be the reason why they leave me rather neutral and uninterested.
*silently sneaks out to take a shower instead of thinking more about these toys*  :lookround:

I didn't know how to vote, as I don't have the actual playset, only the two babies who came with it. I bought them on a local auction site several years ago, not even knowing back then that there was a playset with them. By hindsight I wish I would have asked the seller what happened to that... I'm OK not having the actual playset, I'm not really interested in it for myself, but I love the babies and I'm happy to have them (G2 babies are the cutest things ever!).

Whoa, I don't think I've heard of this set before! It looks cute, but I'm not really a playset fan (I only have the Lullaby Nursery, though of that I have two ), so I'm OK to be without ^.^

To those who don't have /aren't familiar with Chuck E. Cheese restaurants, they serve kid-friendly food (mostly pizza) and also have an arcade with games to play, which you pay for with Chuck E Cheese tokens that are about the size of American quarters.  When you play a game, the game machine spits out tickets for you to collect.  (The better your score, the more tickets.)  Then you turn in the tickets for prizes.  So this baby pony was one of the prizes.

The prizes always "cost" soooo many tickets that I could never afford anything more than a cheap plastic harmonica or a few pieces of bubble gum.  I would love to know how many tickets it cost to "win" this pony.  I'll bet it was a lot.
Wow, to me this is totally new and interesting info, thanks for sharing! I didn't know the pony was available as a prize, I kind of believed she must have been some store-exclusive purchasable product, a contest prize, or something like that. It must have been frustrating as a MLP lover kid not to be able to afford the pony because it cost too many tickets...

So I ordered my set on 9/27 and they arrived today. Best part is that they sent me two each of the orange and blue concerned ponies. Since these are the only two that I really wanted, I am 100% ok with not getting the complete set. Of course it does raise an issue with quality control; like what if I had received two each of the other set instead. Anyway, luck was on my side

Lucky! I got two blue Pegasus and no blue concerned fakie so that made me feel a little glum. For some reason I thought you got the whole set not random sets of two
Ah dang... I was considering buying a set, but talked myself out of it because I really don't need the other two, and I found the price too much for 2 fakies (1 really, as I already have a blue concerned fakie)... knowing that they even send them random is even more intimidating
