6) Everyone (Bronies, collectors, my mom who doesn't really care but has listened to me talk about it for at least an hour) dislikes the SDCC figure for these main reasons: A. The pony and Spike figure are not worth $50 B. The pony is not brushable C. The pony is not detailed enough D. The pony is a minor character
um, you can say "the majority", but according to the poll and comments not "everyone" feels this way (roughly 18% of the people who voted here like/want her). I, for one, am excited to get her and I LOVE her. She's a character that I actually like anyway. I love her hair AS IS and am glad this pony in particular is not brushable (though that's my one exception for liking molded hair). I'm a little iffy on the $50, but if she really is DaP size and spike is bigger that's much easier for me to take and when I looked at EquestriaDaily the other day, it seemed more than not liked her... :/ as for D....the past two years were also minor character. I mean, Mane-iac is a major character in one episode. DJ doesn't have ANY speaking lines, and Pony has been reduced to a non-speaking character (though she appears with the most regularity and is acknowledged by other ponies on a regular basis). Not saying D's not a reason to be upset, just pointed out that it's not unusual for Hasbro to go this route....and many of us were not wanted a mane 6 rehash right?
On the note of "minor character", SDCC exclusives tend to be of minor characters that wouldn't necessarily do well with a larger market, or a special edition of a popular character. See Monster High that released popular special edition characters for two years, then switched to minor characters or test characters. Ever After High is doing a special edition character for their first year. Personally, I'm way happier to see minor characters get the spotlight instead of another Pinkie with special designs.

I'm starting to think she might be the design a pony luna size?
Ha! I just posted that ![Smile :)](https://mlparena.com/Smileys/default/smile_001.gif) I pulled out my Design Luna and the bodies look identical sans the horn and wings.

I just pulled out my small princess ponies and my Design-a-Pony, and the exclusive is most likely on a Design-a-Pony base. The legs are quite a bit different!
I am really torn on this exclusive. I loved the Power Ponies because it mixed two of my favourite things! I would be happy to grab this exclusive, but not for a $50 price tag. The two doll Monster High set is only $40, and the Ever After High doll is $30. Both of these are much more detailed and special than the pony exclusive.

My TRU had Mae Tallick on for $5 so I bought her on a whim, and dangit, now I love this line! There are basically no Novi Stars left in Canada, but what about the US? Are exactly how hard is it to track down Mimi, Mali, and Vera?

Hello all! I have a bunch of G1 accessories from my childhood that I am selling off (already in talks with someone, will post whatever is leftover!), but I have no idea what prices they should be. http://mlparena.com/index.php/topic,355384.0.htmlFor proof of the magic of magic erasers, check out my before and after pics above! Magic erasers can't fix everything, but they are the easiest first line tool when you are restoring a pony to its original glory

I looooove Baby Racer he is so adorable. In nice condition he hovers $22-25. So with the problems mentioned $15 - he is expensive so you are sure to get interest from someone to restore him a bit or who just cant afford him when minty.
The duck float will be $8
Thanks for the help, Hathor! Baby Racer is adorable! I still have my childhood one

Hello all! I lucked out last weekend and picked up some G1s at a retro toy fair. Most of them are for my personal collection, but the seller had a Baby Racer and baby sea pony float, and I know both of those items are sought after. Would I be able to get a price check on the two items? Neither are perfect, but I am sure they will find a good home with someone here on the boards! Baby RacerOverall, he's in great shape with a nice body and hair. However, he has a highlighter mark on one side of his body, some minor blush rubs, a symbol rub on his other side, and a small brown splotch just under that. visitors can't see pics , please register or loginvisitors can't see pics , please register or loginSea Pony FloatI know very little about these items, but it seems to be in good shape. There are paint rubs on the orange parts. visitors can't see pics , please register or login

There are a few funky releases as well...like blue hearts Dazzleglow and purple haired Tuneful (I think that's her name) she had both a blue hair and a purple hair release...many people believe the purple is International, but i had a friend here in Canada who had one bought for her here. And some of the UK releases of ponies like B. Firefly and B. Surprise were identical except for the non-glitter symbols...we didn't get those at all here in canada.
Ah yes, Pretty Beat is the one with blue and purple hair... to add to the confusion I have seen both versions on European cards as well!
I'm Canadian, and I have both those ponies! I was so confused when I first found the pony community and saw that the other versions were dominant!
