Just spied on your collection pics from the swap, Kitkumi and ahhhh I love that room you giant plushie pile picture was taken in! I saw the wall of manga before all the different plush!!!!! 
I also really love your legendary birds!!! My neighbor used to have that zapdos and a shiny charizard one! All your eeveelution pokedolls and your bootleg areodactyl is so precious!

Thanks! We are huge book fans, so that wall is nothing but bookshelves and books of varying types. It is the best room ever to just curl up with a book in And I was so happy that I still have the legendary birds! I wasn't sure I did because I hadn't seen them in a long while; they were really beautifully made (though Zapdos's one wing is currently mia lol). So, when my birthday rolled around the other week, I ended up having a bit of a Pokemon themed birthday! My fiance picked me up the Hoopa DVD and manga and the Absol figure, and I found the Latios and Latias plush when I went out for the day


And then my amazing mother surprised me with the limited Red figure!    I had sat up the night he went live for purchase meaning to buy him, but didn't due to the price. Turns out my mom also sat up that night to make sure she was able to snag him as a birthday present. She's been so super supportive, not only of my love of Pokemon since the start but all my hobbies, and she thought it was a great way to celebrate 20 years of Pokemon.

How do you feel about "asian" stationary - the kind with the cute erasers and pens in strange shapes?
Love it! Especially anything with foxes on it. Also anything that is magnetic and can stick to a fridge. We use a lot of that kind of stationary

Would you like or do you like the adult coloring books? If so what kinda do you like?
I do like them, I just haven't found any that I'm super in love with. I would LOVE a good celtic book with the majority of it being Celtic knots. I would also love if How to Train Your Dragon jumped on the bandwagon and released an adult coloring book, but it hasn't happened yet lol

It's alright I got my Jirachi plush some time ago (my TRU was one of the ones that put them out early). But thanks for thinking of me!

So, we found a TRU on the way home and they didn't have the promo cards. They had the cards from last month. And I was super angry!! We were looking at the pokemon figures since we were there and they had three celebi and three jirachi plush. And a guy came back, told his son to grab them all, and then picked up some of the figures and like 30 seconds later a younger kid came by looking for celebi and was so diasapointed :/ I hate scalpers.

I'm hoping that I don't miss out on the TRU event tomorow. We are going to be on the road and I'm not sure there are any TRU stores anywhere near the route we take. Gonna try to find one though! lol

I watched the dubbed at the time (I think I was seven or eight when I began watching the first season, so I was just watching it as a Saturday morning cartoon). Though I have since seen the subbed versions as well (and I've been watching Tri right along with subtitles at current). I like both versions, but I am partial to the English voices just because those are the voices that stick out in my childhood memories.

So the annivsary site updated with pictures of the Pikachu, Blastoise, and Venusaur card boxes coming out over the next few months, and I'm feeling a little cheated. Charizard got this cool figure with it's box of cards, but the next three are only going to have a giant card as an extra?
