A year ago I almost had decided to try and get the Paradise Estate playset.  I even bought a lot with a whole bunch of furniture in it.  Then I was going to get the estate.  And while I was waiting for one to pop up for sale or bids, I started to wonder, "Where am I going to put it?"  As big as I figured it was going to be I thought I beter not get it since I would probably have to have a free table to put it on.  So I've been getting the itch to get one again and I was wondering how much room it really takes up?  Plus I really want to see some pics!      I've never seen pics of one with furniture in it, all set up.

Yes, I believe Hasbro intended her to be Sweetie Swirl since she looks just like the blind bag version.  She is pretty!  I just got her a couple of days ago.  My story for getting her is rediculous!  I was waiting to buy the carousel set when Target put them on sale.  So I went to check on them 2 weeks into January and they were all clearanced out already!!!  I was sooo bummed!  I waited to long!  Walmart doesn't clearance there toys out that soon so I didn't realize Target's clearance would be so quick.  So I checked 2 other Targets within driving distance and a TRU with no luck.  Finally got online that night to see what was online and found one for $30 + $7 shipping.  So I ended up paying a little over the $30 price instead of less!      But I guess that price is better than what they are going for now.  I Really wanted the carousel and Sweetie Swirl!  I was surprised I could wait as long as I did to buy it in the first place.  Good Luck to everyone looking for her!

I am a little disappointed the castle is another 2D playset.  I guess it will be easier to display that way but I think the other castles make better toys.  Considering my daughter will be getting the castle part most likely.
 
And yes what is with the Prince's hair?  I'm not crazy about it either.     I may customize my Prince's hair when I get him.
 
I really like the Princess's wings too!  Luna should have been done in that pose.  I wonder if they will redo Luna in that pose eventually.

I voted for Lucky Dreams, Bita Luck, Tea Love, Cherry Spices, and Firecracker Burst!  Do you notice a theme there a little?  I picked ponies that we don't see that color in very often.  Or ever considering Cherry Spices.  And I think we need more green ponies!  Green is pretty too!  And I've loved Firecracker Burst the most from wave one.  I would've picked Pepperdance too but I like her better if they would use the green hair, like in her collectors card.  I think the pics on the collectors cards are better.  Anyone notice how they didn't always use the same colors on the actual ponies as in the card.  And the card's version always looks better.  And of course I'd have picked all boys if they were an option so its good you didn't put them in there.
 
I also would've liked to pick Heartstrings, Lemonhearts (I also love yellow ponies), Sweetcreme scoops(another one they screwed up the color on), Roseluck, Honeybelle, Ribbon Heart, Stardash, Sprinkle Stripe, Apple Dazzle, and Lovestruck.  But thats just picking ones I like the most.  If I could talk to Hasbro, I'd say make them all brushable!  I like brushables WAY more!

I love every type of G1 baby. In my opinion G1 still has the best babies of all generations.
The G4 kids/babies are not very impressive to me. I was dissapointed by the colors of the baby ponies in "baby cakes" and the constant lacking of a cutie mark doesn't help either. The blank flank thing is a fun element in the show but blank flank ponies are boring to collect.

I agree with the colors they picked.  I absolutely LOVE colors!  So I too was surprised they didn't pick more vibrant colors and a little let down.  But they are still cute!
