My boyfriend actually had some G1s as a kid (most of the Year 2s including playsets), but I still would consider him to be a non-collector. However, one night in a thrift store, I found a Glory and right away he was like "I HAD HER!" He loves Glory.
I was taking pictures of her one night and he freaked out, saying "You can't sell Glory!" I assured him that I wasn't. When his grandparents came up for Thanksgiving and his grandmother saw my pony room for the first time, which has well over 200 ponies in it, the first thing she said was "Is that Glory?" It was so cute!
He also thinks Nightmare Moon is cool-looking but he won't watch FiM.
That is an ADORABLE story!! My boyfriend likes Barnacle and likes Gusty from the movie :p

Is anyone having trouble with the game as far as internet connection? I haven't been able to use any of the features requiring internet (sharing to FB, collectig/sending chests and hearts, going on to GL to accept friend invites) for quite some time now. All my other internet-requiring apps work fine, it's just problems with this one. I also haven't been able to claim my daily bonus in weeks.
It seems that the social aspect has been an issue for a lot of players. Try turning off your device and turning it back on. My iPad struggles sometimes and a reboot seems to help. PS love your screen name. Queen Zenobia was awesome! *history nerd fist bump*

I really enjoy the game and building my town, but GL is so greedy about the gems. Everything costs a stupid amount of gems and you can only get a couple a day unless you buy them with real money. And having quests that require buying shops/ponies for tons of gems? Just kinda low.

I love her colors and symbol, but I was never a big fan of this pose. I've also never had a Sweet Stuff that wasn't rock hard. Something about her must make the plasticizer leak out.
That is so true! And also why she is so prone to age marks/cancer unfortunately.
I hadn't heard that before and it makes perfect sense! I've never been able to find a Trickles, Confetti, or Gingerbread without cancer and they're always rock hard too! I actually pulled my Sweet Stuff from a badly damaged card and I must have done it in time because she's cancer free after several years of ownership. *knock on wood!*
