Love them! While I love the joke of Clawdeen as Red it would've been funny having Lala as LRRH (with Clawd as Big Bad, ha!)

Off Topic / Re: First time dog owner, what to expect? (small breed)
« on: May 09, 2012, 01:46:33 PM »
Just popping in to say since you are moving to an area that's really cold in winter you will need a dog coat no matter which breed you get (not just greyhound). The booties are great for protecting their paws against salt/chemicals and the cold.

Fantastic pictures, Clawdeen has this one in the bag:) It was a hard choice between Spectra and Lagoona but in the end voted Spectra.

Lagoona should have had more items but with the purses combined with her pondering "What do I want to get today?" look she squeaked by.

Spectra's green clothes were a great nod to her sin but I think if she had catalogs with items circled (a mock one with sales fliers cut outs)/ images of the other monsters etc she could have score a bit higher.

Does any one have any MyScene male dolls? And know if their fashions fit male monster high dolls by chance?

Here you go:

I know I have more My Scene boy clothes but I could only find that one pair of pants, as you can see they don't fit:P They'd be swimming in the shirts with the chest difference!

My Scene heads are like MLPs in the way the head goes on so it would require some jerry rigging to make a head swap work, if at all. (head is just a tad bigger than MH though)

MH feet are bigger surprisingly.

Pony Corral / Re: HASBRO's New TROLL-IFICATION Policy!

I wonder if it would be possible to glue a strip of that stuff on in place of his original hair.

I think so; I'm hoping anyway:)
Wigs I made from the stuff I bought (it's wicked soft, esp. the lavender! )

With all the nice (and inexpensive) fake furs out there why did they have to do troll hair? I have some lovely stuff I bought on Etsy for doll wigs that's soft AND looks good. *shakes fist at Hasbro*

That's what I meant:) It's mentioned here bottom post on the left):

It could be Clawd has simply been shortpacked but no one seems to be able to find him lately and there's not many on ebay to point the finger at scalpers.

Off Topic / Re: PC needed on CB Noble Heart and True Heart beanies
« on: April 22, 2012, 10:42:35 AM »
Added pic.

I've tried searching prices for these beanies but True Heart's is all over the place and Noble Heart's seems to run from $200-$400 O.o Apparently True Heart has had a couple reincarnations but Noble heart looks to have only the original plush and this beanie (which is odd, you'd think they'd have made the same number of plushes for him as TH)

From what I've heard Mattel didn't include Clawd in any of the new 1600 cases :(

Not sure if this is true as 1. why would they take Lala's boyfriend out in the first place and 2. When they did it with Gil in the Skull shores at least they replaced him with a new doll! (though why they chose Gil and not one of the girls is another thing I don't understand.)

« on: April 21, 2012, 01:01:43 PM »
Any help would be appreciated!

Both were bought at a Carlton Card store; they are the 2004 8" Beanies. Both have their hang tags and tush tags (Noble Heart still has the Carlton store tag as well). In excellent condition.

Thanks in advance!

edit: I thought I had included the pic

Pony Corral / Re: understanding unicorns
« on: April 20, 2012, 12:35:12 PM »
Unicorns show related abilities
Buttons - power to levitate things
Gusty - power to blow gusts of wind from her horn
Ribbon- Telepethy
Fizzy- Bubbles
Galaxy - can make her horn glow

Buttons could also move/manipulate items: in one episode she used her magic to undo a sleeping guard's belt to get the keys off it.

I think Galaxy's power was actually intuition (still lame). All the unicorns horns glowed when they used their magic.

Check out the scrapbooking section in craft stores, I've had great luck finding cute trims. Also check out craft sections of whatever is UK's equivalent of a Dollar store, you never know what you'll find.

Was I the only one who watched the special on Friday? O.o I was going to post about it but no one else mentioned it so refrained so I wouldn't spoil it!

And yes, they so need to make Andy!

I'm desperately looking for the Howleen/Clawdeen pack! I have this Alice in Wonderland glass piece for trade:
visitors can't see pics , please register or login

There are no markings or anything on the piece to tell who the maker was but have found out it's from the 70's/80's. There were several different ones made, all of scenes from the book.Piece measures 5 1/8 inches wide 7 1/4 tall and features the illustration of the white rabbit checking his pocket watch (The scene has been reversed).

It's  made of wavy glass and has a leaded frame. The glass itself has some  scratches but nothing that mars the picture. There is a large one on the  rabbit's waistcoat (I think it was from the chain) which I noticed only  when it was lying flat; it's not visible when on diplay. Image is  painted on the back of the glass. There are some tiny scuffs here and  there but not anything major.

I have excellent feedback here and on the TP. Thanks for looking!
