Trader & Shipping Support / Re: (New?) US Customs Forms
« on: April 21, 2012, 12:26:54 PM »
It seems like it would make more sense to have the original be on the package and keep the copies on file, but... That'd make the post office's job  a smidge harder as they couldn't just peel off the back of the last one and stick it on.
I wondered why the post office was using the bottom copy myself when they first switched over to them here.  FedEx Ground forms do the carbon copies as well and the top one is the one they peel off to stick on the package; so, it can be done.  :P    Oh well, I've not had any problems with them and I've been using them for over a year (I think the switch started about two years ago as I had heard about them before they showed up here).

My grandfather had it.  That was back in the 80's; so, I was fairly young at the time and don't remember many details about it.

Pic 2 - the pink hair pick with aqua hair belongs to the Poof N Puff Perfume Palce

Pic 3 - the pink heart brush in the upper right corner is the one from the Pretty Parlor

Pic 4 - the white comb with the purple flowers is a fakie comb (Lanard I believe)

Pic 5 - the purple barrette with the ribbons is G3 (I believe from the Twist N Style Petal Parlor)

A few other things look familiar but I'm not sure what they're from.

I think I may know the site you're looking for, but it's no longer there.  I've tried to get it through the Wayback Machine - does this look familiar:

I actually prefer to use the pose index too since colors can be subjective.  Plus, I've found it easier to miss a pony when scrolling through so many of the same color - they all start blending together after awhile.

Those last two appear to be Twilight Ponies: http://www.twilightponies.com/uk/index.html  There was a thread about them over in Off Topic not too long ago: http://mlparena.com/mlp/index.php/topic,288839.0.html

Well, while I've known for years that some models have a tendency to shrink, I never knew it was considered contagious till just recently (and there is some debate over that); so, I don't know how well known the problem really is.  It's not even addressed in the Breyer Collector's Guide as a condition to watch for.

My BHR Indian Ponies are all shrinkies.  I keep them with the rest of my herd and have for years without any indications of it having spread to anyone else.

These are old pics, but they're the only ones I have at the moment.

I don't have pictures of them but I also have a Colorforms set, some books, a card game, a record, at least one coloring book, and a few more PVCs.

Here, none of the local stores - WalMart, TRU, Target - have any of the luggage ponies yet (and TRU had no singles at all).  I did see the mane 6 when I was last in Nashville, but no Diamond Rose or Cherry Pie.

I agree with Diamond - it sounds like a shrinky.  Unfortunately, you can't really get rid of the smell in that case.

I had quite a few (and still do) - Mimic, Crumpet, Munchy, Red Roses, Cool Breeze, Oakley, Scribbles and Dabble, Lil Sweetcake and Lil Cupcake, Tux n Tails, and the second set of Sea Ponies with their shells are just some examples.

What I really kick myself over though is that I didn't get any of the ponies from the last mail order form I got.  I had more than enough horseshoe points to get everything, but I was getting more into Breyers at the time and quit collecting ponies.  The ponies I could have gotten through that offer? - TAF babies, birthday sisters, and Sweet Scoops with her charm.   :whoa:

I don't think you're a bad trader either.      I haven't been too worried since I'd had heard from you within the past week plus it hasn't quite been a month since they were shipped.   I mainly posted here to offer the TP as an alternative place to try to make contact if necessary.
