I'm going to be starting 2 customs for my nieces. My brother has turned all his kids into comic book junkies, so I'm doing their favorite heroes Super Girl and Spiderman! Spiderman I suspect will be the most difficult for me, so I'm looking for ideas and inspiration! Show me your pics of Super hero/Villain/comic themed customs!

Well, the second G4 I dismantled went alot smoother and the tail went in a little easier. With G1s and G3s I use a latch-hook to pull my tails through and it doesn't leave the crease in the tail like string or wire, but it just doesn't work with those tiny little G4 tail holes. I managed to get both ponies totally re-haired and re-tailed, now I just need to pick up the right color glitter for symbols!

Yeah, everywhere I go there are tons of the main 6 and that's pretty much it. But one of the Targets by me just released the new singles and I nabbed Trixie, Lyra, and Sunny Rays!

I read on TRU's website that you can pre-order these for delivery after 8/31 so I'm assuming 8/31 is the official release date. However, today at my local TRU I found a ton of them on the shelf! They snuck out early! I had to buy a present for my niece, today so I couldn't get myself one, but I will on Friday! Ok, checked through my hair to see what I had to spare! So let me correct and elaborate on my previous post:
1. Lemon Drop-full hank
2. Water Nixie- full hank
3. Mango Tango- most of a hank (at least 3/4)
4. Tiger Melon- most of a hank
5. 2 full manes and 1 full tail from styling G3 Rarity

OMG! The neck plug! I finally cut that thing out and it was still stuck in just one little spot and I pulled and pulled it and ended up breaking the the plug in half!  Thanks for the help! The tail wasn't any thicker than the original, but it wouldn"t fit through doubled up like when you pull it through with string or wire, I ended up threading two loops of string through at the same time then placing half the tail in each one and pulling half through at a time... G4s are so frustrating, this may be my first and last G4 custom!
