The buyer could have many reasons as to why the information does not match up and many of those reasons are up to no good - stolen paypal info, scammer trying to keep from being recognized...

This was my first thought?  I recently had a known scammer whom I have had blocked for ages open a new account and purchase something from me.  The thing is this is the 2nd time she has done it to me.  Just an example that it does happen.
 
I would go with your gut feeling as you are already doing.  If it looks like a duck, swims like a duck, and quacks like a duck, then it probably is a duck. 
 
Anyways  I don't care if it is $20 or $5 it's not worth being out the money in the end.

Hmm..I know my cat does some odd things but never seen him do that one.  Well he does walk around with his tongue hanging out of his mouth often but he has done it for years.
Is his breathing labored at all when he does this?  If not maybe he has a tooth bothering him or it's just part of his personality!  It's hard to say with cats but if you are worried, I would take him to the vet.
