I caught the pet-painting bug from the swap I was just in and I painted this little guy to match my blue and gold macaw. He's the pet for my Tropical breeze custom. I'm getting rid of my old collection, and I have no idea where to start. Anyone on here have success selling Pokemon cards? (A big lot on ebay? one by one through a forum? selling them at a garage sale?)
I know they aren't worth that much anymore, and honestly I just want a few bucks. I'm not expecting to retire with my cards. I just want to hear how you guys parted with your cards~

I agree with hlmlp, Tea is awesome for dye. I've never used coffee, but I've dyed linens and lace with tea with really awesome results. I've never tried it on plastic tho. I'd be curious to see the results.

I appreciate all the answers you guys. The real problem is that I've gotten attached to the poor guy, and I know a lot of people would take him... but I don't know if I could part with him. I've had him for just about a year now. I feel bad for him. I think now that I know the community won't rain fireballs and fakies on me for doing it, I think I'll go ahead and customize him, give him a new lease on life. (gosh I just noticed I get really sentimental about my ponies.... ) I have a hasbro-remake custom in mind that I've wanted to do for a while that I think would suit him really well. Thanks for the advice and opinions guys!

I have a Steamer that is in really poor shape. (white hair, plugs missing, tail rust, badly scratched symbols) I was going to restore him.. but I just don't care for his colors or symbol.. or anything. I hate ruining G1s, so I tried to sell him about 4 times on ebay with no takers. now I feel bad for him and don't want to part with him, and I'm thinking of baiting him.
What do you guys think? Is it OK to bait this beat up old brother?
