I would not feel so discouraged not being able to find G1s. I have been thrifting for years and G1's are very hard to come across, although I have been lucky a few times. You just have to be persistent in going to thrift stores regularly. I go thrifting several times a week after work and on weekends and sometimes I find vintage toys and sometimes nothing. It really just comes down to luck. If you happen to be at the thrift store when they put it out.

I have noticed during my years here on the Arena, that sellers will make a sales post and then say they are going out of town or won't be available to answer Pms possibly. Then why even make a sales post? Just do it when you are available. It makes no sense. I rarely buy on here either anymore BTW. And some don't update their posts if a pony is pending so then you are still waiting for a PM for a pony possibly claimed :/

I actually just sold my Yeolume Blackberry doll a few months ago for $90 on ebay and that was with free ship, so it is possible to get one for under $100.
Just barely yes. But not for customization purposes :-)
Oh yeah I guess if its for customization then $90 is too much lol :p
