Customs / Re: Anyone else noticed quality issues with Dollyhair?
« on: April 23, 2012, 04:57:49 PM »
Hey Baby Sugarberry, everyone is correct as it is to do with the manufacturing process. There is a large range of the nylon hair that has the texture, but it does come out with ease. Nate

I agree with piper, I personally prefer to work with Nylon but saran is great for straight hair styles.

Pony Brag Arena / Re: I Finished My Pony Room ;-)))

Your room looks awesome, I just wish I had an extra room to set everything up.

They had one more airbrushed bit which was the nurses but someone beat me to that one. Otherwise he dosn't have any more at the moment unless they find some more in his studio.

70
I found someone at ponycon last year who was selling all the artwork on behalf of the original artist and couldn't resist it. The artwork also showed that the UK loving families had their names done in german, french and dutch so I asume that these were due to be be released in those countries as well but just never happened.

71
Woah! Where did you find these?

I managed to get them from the person who did the airbrush work, he needed space and was selling loads of old artwork he had done over the years.

72
I finally got the photo taken of part of the proof I own which has the names on. So I think they were going to be released in the UK, Franch and Holand as well but that never happened.

You can see the rest of the proof in the brag I have just posted with more artwork in, http://mlparena.com/mlp/index.php/topic,292777.0.html

We have been meaning to brag about these two proofs and artwork for quite a while but have just never gotten around to doing it until now.
The first two are the proofs that Hasbro used.

Customs / Re: Replacement flutter wings?
« on: April 04, 2012, 04:33:56 PM »
There used to be a seller on ebay who sold reproduction flutter wings. I believe her name was Nora and she might have been from Germany. Also, we had a member, GypsyWildflower who also made and sold amazing repros.

I know that MyLittleCustoms.com used to sell GypsyWildflower's wings. Maybe you could contact Piper (that's her Arena name but I can't remember her real one - sorry  ) and ask if she knows how to get a hold of a pair.

Also, there are a few custom tutorials if you are just looking for some pretty wings and not necessarily reproductions of the originals. Pinkkittywinks also sells some gorgeous butterfly style wings for flutters.

Good luck! ;)

Hey Pop-girl,

Pipper dosn't run mylittlecustoms any more my wife lisy_baby does, sadly the company changed the plastic that the repo wings were made from and noone has found a suitable plastic substitute to make them with again.
