Clearly that person is horrible.

As a side note, can I ask how many interactions you had before they stopped responding?

The D&D pack is really fun, but ffs the eye placement on all of these makes them unbuyable imo.

I always wonder about the stories of things at thrift shops..  if those ponies did belong to a collector who passed away, I'm sure that person would be so happy that they ended up in your hands, Gator!

That's a good idea, BlackCurtains.  It doesn't have to be in a will to still be helpful to your family.  I've told my husband he can give my toys away (he will definitely not have the wherewithal to negotiate sales) if something happens to me, but that I want them to go to a collector.

The Tamiya epoxy putty should work just fine; if it crumbles after drying, it was not mixed properly or it might be old or something.  It's very important that the two components are equal proportions and that they are completely blended together.  You could also use a toothpick or a wire or something for structural stability.

The Dollhouse / Re: What Are You Collecting These Days?

Made to Move Barbies are probably the most frequent doll purchase I've been making, along with random muscular or chubby dolls, but since MH and EAH ended I'm not actively collecting.  Smart dolls look so nice they'd be tempting if it weren't for the price tag.  I'm trying to resist the siren call of fantasy BJDs..

Helluva was much, much better as entertainment but still had plenty of jokes that just didn't quite make it.

Funny, I liked Hazbin better, and thought the humor in Helluva fell flat.  To each their own.

As a person who enjoys her work but wouldn't call myself a fan, I did casually look into the controversies and have seen no actual evidence that she's problematic, aside from making fan art of two questionable youtubers a few years ago.  She's definitely made adult-themed art, but as far as I can tell hasn't crossed any lines with it such as she's been accused of.

The fact that she has spearheaded a successful campaign to get professional quality animation produced without a corporation involved is really exciting.  Both Hazbin Hotel and Helluva Boss are really well made and fun to watch.

Always Mountain Boys!  (Also, Rapunzel is kinda ugly to me and I wouldn't want her for myself. >.>)

All of the flower-themed flutters are lovely, but Rosedust is perfection imo.  :lovey:

Hahahaha, when I first read this I thought you were making Steamer himself be the engine!!  With other ponies following behind him as the cars!   I need a nap maybe...

I had the exact same thought at first! XD

All of the flutter ponies are beautiful imo - thier sculpts are my absolute favorite that were ever made - but I'm less in love with the non-flower themed ones.. the neon colors and random symbols don't really jibe with the "fairy pony" thing.  But that's just me.

Toy Box & Games Cupboard / Re: What game are you playing? Cont.

Dead by Daylight has become my latest game obsession.  My partner started playing it a few weeks ago and I thought I wasn't into it, but now I just can't stop.

I've also been playing the story mode of the Long Dark, a survival game set in the Canadian wilderness. I have to take that one in small batches though.

Lol, they make the Ghostbusters pony look like fakie trash.

Off Topic / Re: Other Collections?
« on: May 15, 2020, 10:10:36 AM »
Ever since I was a little kid I've been collecting tiny glass bottles, metal lunch boxes, and shells (mostly collected myself, and some from my late aunt's collection - I fill fishbowls and glass jars with them for display).  As an adult I got back into ponies and also started collecting dolls (Monster High is the big one, but also Ever After High, Novi Stars, and any plump dolls I can find, along with whatever else tickles my fancy).  I used to have a pretty big collection of VHS and DVDs, and hundreds of books, but had to get rid of most of those during some moves.

The older I get, the more I want to streamline my collections for ease of display and storage - it's hard to not want to keep acquiring more though.
