Nice! We’re they just loose ponies or moc? Years ago I found a bunch of g1 ss ponies loose at a Halloween store. It’s always fun finding g1s in the wild!

Wave jumper is over looked in my opinion more than most! Sea light seems to be the least popular with collectors of the first three though! I think I see more sea light than any of the adults for sale.

Costume wear took me FOREVER to complete! In the center ring, galaxy wear and academy award were the hardest for me to complete.
Strike up the band was also a pain to track down really nice pieces and that darn baton!

Does that Snuzzle-looking pony have closed eyes? It looks like it, but her hair is in the way.
I thought the same thing, and then I remembered the bbe adult Sunlight perhaps there were several adult bbe ponies created as tests?!

The two tan ones are part of the party pony line by Lanard. There were three babies (you have two of the three) and three adults in that set which is the palomino family. The babies you have were sold individually on card while the pinto family babies were sold in a set of three, and the pastel family were sold as a mother/baby duo. I’m not sure on the adults for the palomino family, I’ve not seen one carded I don’t think. The pinto adults I know I’ve never seen loose or carded.
There are also another set or party ponies that were sold as a mother/baby duo and three baby set, I’m not sure what they were called other than party ponies, and they seem to have been sold in Europe. I know there’s a pink set with a baby and mommy with stars for a symbol.
Hope this info helps! If you google Lanard party ponies, you can see lots of them carded in the image search!
*edited to add* after digging through google image search it seems like the pinto family ponies were sold as a mommy/baby duo as well as the three babies together! I know I bought the babies together in the early 90s new in store, and could never find the adults!

I wonder if the Rainbow pony special was cancelled or scrapped after RAMC due to it being too scary as well and they went for something softer like escape from Catrina instead?
I realllllly wish they would have let the designers talk about the process a little more and what their personal favorites or ideas where as well as showing all those gorgeous prototypes and artwork!
The moon dreamer bunny is adorable! I wonder what that yellow moose/deer is though?!

It was a good watch! I was not disappointed (only wish it could've been longer). Didn't know the origin of MPP/MLP was quite that convoluted, so that was interesting to hear. Glad G2 at least got a a mention, which was more than I had expected really.
