Ugh  some posties.. they don't even bother to knock the door and find out :(   That's very kind of your first seller to not charge to ship again.
Thanks for the extra research done banditpony  :bigups:  Yes it seem that the second seller probably did send by parcel post and so it is sounds genuine that they had to pay to receive the parcel back  :yikes:

:(  I think you've waited long enough and given your buyer plenty of chances.  Unless Loa has found out anything new, I would send the final message letting the buyer know that you're sorry but due to the amount of time passed etc  you will be putting them back up for sale.  Give it a few more days after the final message is sent, then if you need to sell those ponies relist them. :awake:
I really hope nothing bad has happened to the buyer of course.  :cloud:

Oh noes!! waiting for items shipped during the holiday season is bad enough without adding postal strikes into it  :(  :yikes:
It's stressful but delays like that aren't too unusual, so I think your pony will arrive eventually Snapdragon. I'd have thought maybe 6-8 weeks but with what LBS said, you might be looking at up to 12 weeks or maybe even a bit more if the pony was sent back to the US first.  I had a pony take about 3 months once. I'm hoping your pony arrives soon *hugs*

I've had this happen a couple of times (mostly as a seller ) usually where the other person is in another country /has sent payment in a different currency and I've had to manually accept it.  The transactions went through fine after that.
You did the right thing by contacting the seller :)

Thanks for the update  :)  Good thing she backed off IMO , the whole thing sounded dodgy , so even though it's still annoying it's way better to have a bit of time wasted than to try and get through a transaction safely with someone like this :bigups:

Slightly less thrilling than a Brooke Kutik saga should be, I guess! Sorry guys! ;) But I'd prefer it to end with a whimper instead of a bang!

That's how we would like it to end too!  You scored a victory by dodging that transaction!

Yep , totally agree!

Hopefully an Italian member will be able to help you with the shipping . If they will not ship to you then they probably wouldn't ship to me either as I'm in the UK.
If it was just a matter of translating/writing to the seller I could have helped though -  I am learning Italian :)  :awake:

That's awesome news about your pony!!!! :cheer:  :frolic:  :squee:  :bigups:   I'm really happy for you! :tackleglomp:   ... not so much about the ridiculous customs fees, especially after they messed up so bad in the first place  (  ) , but still if you can get some compensation from Swedish Post, that would be fantastic!
Thanks so much for the update , and also *sigh of relief* for the happy ending to a stressful situation :)

Pony Corral / Re: POTD 1/10/19 Cherry Treats
« on: January 11, 2019, 04:08:04 AM »
She's one of my childhood ponies  so of course I love her :lovey:  I have 2  (hmm at least 2... I should really check :P )   . My childhood girl is really discoloured now- we had a lot of outdoor adventures when I was a kid but Cherry Treats + sun = no no . She still has great hair, smell and paint but she's very tanned. That's ok, I think its kindof cute - she  has an even tan all over
I've got another Cherry Treats that is really white ! I keep her well away from the light ;)  pics are still messed up as I try and find my old ones but here's a couple of pics of my complete set with one  CT in  (I should I have group CT pics somewhere...)
