Off Topic / Re: "This is Life with Lisa Ling": Furries
« on: November 19, 2018, 09:25:48 AM »
I saw it. And I cried.

Im not a furry (though I would do a child event had I the health and chance, I would be shy and embarrassed to do it otherwise) but I did cosplay before I got sick and the anxiety and how it helps people to cope really got to me in a personal way. I guess for me it was very...very relatable. I found myself revisit my past and my childhood and all the complexities surrounding it.

The this is life series has always been tastefully done IMO and hits on a lot of topics that are often sensitive or misunderstood.  It was nice seeing many of the parents and kids together at the end with the parents trying to support and understand and see how its positive for their kid.

Oh, wow :(  Yeah they like to actually drill into the side of the house to try to get in and make nests.  We had issues awhile back but nothing like that.

The weather is changing.  Glad things are sorted

ah, I know the feeling all too well ^^'

I would be afraid of messing it up, myself.  I couldn't help you out anyway, I just got my first sewing machiene about a month back (I have hand sewed all my life) and mine isn't heavy duty, let alone im still working on trying to test a few things out/practice on getting things straight/getting curves the way I want ^^'

Just going to pop my head in and post a gentle poke to please keep things civil.  The posts soo far are fine but this is just preliminary as politics can get quite heated.

mom has the cream.  It works for her headaches but it doesn't work for arthritis.

I haven't personally tried it though it seems to be hit and miss as far as how effective it is.

Ive heard that you can put the oil on topically?  The cream smells really nice..nothing like what you would expect it to.

Theres a local shop called Beanermunky Chocolates that sells out of this world stuff.
non local...kinder has a bar that is white in the middle and milk on the outside that I used to love. There are many German and Italian brands that are excellent too :)

now a days I need ot be careful due to allergies.  There are a few MA safe bars out there but I cant remember the name of my favourite one...I just look at the packaging >>

Ofcorse, when im staying home and someone taunts me with something with soy and milk (but without gluten) ill usually say flip it and prepare for internal war xD

they are entertaining at times but also annoying.

You can tell they spoof the numbers when its got a local area code or when theres a z infront of the number.

Lately weve been getting the credit card shams but my favourite ones are the computer and immigrant Canada.  Unfortunetely the last time I got one of those I really wasn't in the mood to mess around with them.  Typically ill ask how the weather is in Mumbai then to go find someone else to annoy.
