I’m from the UK but I love this thread! It’s making me want to move to the US sooo much! It’s a shame teachers aren’t paid more over there :( (and you know...Trump XD)

Do not be fooled. Trump is NOT our only problem. ALL of the politicians, on both sides of the aisle, are trash. They sold their souls to the highest bidder for money and power. None of them represent the people who elected them. It does matter if you are on the left or right, they are ALL bad!!!

I was adamant I was not going to watch it or at the very least I would hate it if I did. I binge watched it over the past two nights and I didn't hate it. I still think the animation is kind of meh, and there are a lot more goofy parts than I personally would have liked, but the kids loved them. I like that She-Ra is vulnerable in this one. One of my favorite characters definitely has to be Catra. They did a really good job fleshing her out and making her relatable in this version. My other favorite is Queen Angela. She is beautifully drawn, the actress who played her did a great job and she was Motherly without being over bearing. I thought I was going to hate Glimmer and Bow would annoy me, but they were fine. Glimmer grew on me after a few episodes and I do not dislike her design as much as I originally disliked it. I do think it is sad that they basically wasted Netossa and Spinerella until the finale. Oh and I hate Swift Wind. Hate the way he was made (although it is kind of funny how they respond to him when they find out he can talk), hate his dialogue and I feel like he was not really well used however I can understand why they chose to go that route. That is more a personal pet peeve because I love the original. Also was not a fan of the redesign of Castaspella. My kids really enjoyed it. My son absolutely hated the theme song and asked me to skip it, but other than that they seemed to enjoy it. As much as I thought Sea Hawk was goofy they really liked him. I am glad I gave it a chance. It is not MY She-Ra, but it was still fun.

Do NOT come to NY. It is ranked 50/dead last in EVERYTHING from personal freedoms, finances and it is the worst state to retire in. We are stuck here because hubs has a good job, but I am constantly encouraging him to look at TN. Here is a good site to help you learn about where the states rank:

I was in another Target yesterday and they had all of the rainbows. I thought about getting them for someone on the board, but there is so much going on right now it is a bit crazy. They had the whole set, but no unis or pegs.

Thank you, everyone! It has been a rough last year, but I hope it gets better for him. He did say his recent procedures made him feel a bit better. He just got his latest PETscan this week, so we will know more next week. So I had a friend very graciously offer to store my toys in her spare bedroom for me, so I am going to take them off the table at this time. Thank you so much! I am so glad I do not have to part with them. They really bring me a lot of joy <3

I am sorry to hear about this. I lost my dad last year to cancer. It is such a horrible thing to go through and I wouldn't wish it upon anyone. I wish the best for you and your family.

I am so very sorry for your loss, Sweet Stuff. I lost my Dad to Cancer when I was 21 :( It is a heart breaking thing to lose a parent.

As some of you know my brother is fighting stage four Cancer and it is spreading. We are looking into moving out of state temporarily to be closer to him. I originally thought about storing things in a climate controlled storage, but honestly then I would be worried about them getting damaged and I need my head else where.

I was lying in bed having a hard time sleeping thinking about all of this stuff and the only thing that gave me peace is re-homing my collections to people who love toys as much as I do. I will have to take the time to write out price lists, but if you visit my collection page on my site you can see what is up for grabs (and a few things that are not even pictured).

I have most of the MOTUC POP line including Swift Wind (which I paid Ebay prices for). I have a lot of vintage POP that was all MOC (except two figures) that I deboxed. I kept the back cards if they were not too damaged. I have Jem and the Holograms which were all MIB except Kimber (I kept the boxes if they were not too funky). Rainbow Brite both vintage and modern. Strawberry Shortcake, My Little Pony and the list goes on.

Check out my collection pictures here and I will add lists and prices when it is not 5 am - LOL! I may just list everything I can on my Etsy shop (vintage), but the more I can sell off Etsy or Ebay the better. Thanks for looking! Smoke free, pristine home. https://iceempress.wordpress.com/my-collections/

So does that mean if you buy ponies they have to get through passport control and have their hoofprints taken? :)

Ha! You know come to think of it the St. Catherine's TRU did have the ponies on Saturday. I didn't think anything of it because I think I have them all, but they were up front in the collectibles section.

We have been going to TRU across the border (Canada). It is tinier than the one we are used to, but still fun to be able to go. You could fit the St. Catherine's TRU inside the baby side of our old TRU. It was huge!

Do they release full-on trailers for cartoon shows? Will we get one any time soon you think? The show will be released on november 16, that's quite close. All they have shown to promote this are some stills and teaser (because that 42 sec clip is Not a trailer).

Apparently there will be a trailer at NY Comic Con.

The trailer is trash. I will definitely be skipping it. My daughter and son said it looks terrible and my hubby said they made Adora sound like a whiny emo teen - LOL!

Yes, we are still releasing Strawberry Shortcake.  Most recently, we released Peach Blush which is available on Amazon.  (Fyi, yes peach blush is on amazon but for $30-35+.  All my local T stores have clearanced out ssc, ssc is no where to be seen, so I am not so sure how this will end up.)

$30? Yikes! Yeah I do not want her that much. I can get a vintage one for around that price on Ebay. I sure hope I magically find one in stores one day, but as you said the SSC dolls have all been clearanced out.

It's worse than I feared. I got an email from Amazon today saying my Parasol has been delayed until further notice and they asked if I wanted to approve the delay or cancel my order  I stopped searching my Targets because I wasn't finding any ponies and I figured an Amazon order would guarantee it. Back to square one I suppose.

That is awful. I had pre-ordered them there and almost did not pick them up at Target. I guess I am glad I did. If I see any rainbow ponies or unis/pegs I will pick them up and offer them at cost (+shipping) to anyone who needs them. So far no luck, but I go to Target a lot.
