She's pretty, but I don't have her... I don't know, the Jewel ponies have never appealed to me very much for some reason. I like them, but not enough to own them, if that makes sense. :)

Oh, that stinks... I have an ancient Photobucket account that I don't use very much anymore, but it's got a bunch of my old pictures on it. I will have to try to save as many as I can, just in case.

Thanks for the heads up. :)

Thank you kindly to you both! :) And Griffin, Sea Spray is one of my favorites as well... she is just a gorgeous pony.

You have excellent pony taste. :)

The cards look really good, ashlyne. Very close to the originals but with enough differences that you can tell they're reproductions.

Arts & Crafts Corral / My Pony Art Thread [UPDATED July 4]
« on: June 29, 2017, 04:42:31 PM »
Welcome to my art thread! I like to practice my drawing techniques with ponies. They make pretty good subjects. :)

I'm still fairly new to digital art, so I'm happy to take any constructive criticism or suggestions. :)

Gorgeous! I love her pose and I'm glad you included the butterfly. :)

I prefer the size of the original G1 pony plushies, and I also quite like the size of the 4th Dimension G4 plushies. The Build A Bears are nice but they're just a hair too big for me.

I agree that tiny plushies are hard to get right! Especially mass produced stuff. But when they're done well they are adorable. <3

I have a lot of good stuff for sale on eBay if anyone would like to take a look. :) Lots of nice ponies, including several HTF G4's, Sunburst, Baby Racer, Quackers, UK/Euro NSS Buttons, Bubbles, a few backcards, and more. I also have some other toys as well.

Last week I had some cheap ponies and accessories up for auction... and this week I have even more. They all end Sunday night, so there's plenty of time to get your bids in.

I have more that I will be listing in the next couple weeks (Blueberry Baskets, Baby Paws, G2 Teddy, Lady Flutter with ribbon, etc) so keep checking back. :)

If you have Pinkie Pie, I'm interested! She's the last one I'm missing from the Mane 6 set.

Pony Corral / Re: Anybody left that grew up with G1 ponies?
« on: June 29, 2017, 04:07:45 PM »
Me, meeee! I'm still here. :) G1 is still my favorite generation, although I like most of the others too. (Just not G3.5 or G4.5) I had about 60 ponies growing up, which I thought was rather impressive until I discovered the Dream Valley website. Is anyone else bummed that it's no longer available?

Pony Corral / Re: Helping non-collectors is fun!

Yeah, I love doing that too! I took an art class a few months ago and mentioned I collected ponies... one of the gals in my class had a bunch when she was a kid and she was telling me about them, but she couldn't remember any of their names. And I was just like, "Oh yeah, that's Tappy, and that's Seaflower, and that's Lickety Split, and..."

It's nice to know that my pony knowledge comes in handy sometimes. LOL.
