Kids grow so rapidly, the younger they are the quicker they seem to shoot up. My old job I started back in july / august 2013, working with 1 - 2 year olds, some of them have literally doubled in size in the time I have known them. Ive also seen some take their first steps, speak their first words etc. Some can now hold a conversation with me :S
I miss my little bubbas, but I have a brand new group of toddlers at my new job that are already growing on me and im not even two weeks in yet.
Its a shame they have to grow up.

I haven't had a lot of pony luck, but you never know your luck. If I could get my hands on any pony, itd be a g4 funko glitter spitfire. They seem to be insainely hard to obtain for a reasonable price, not impossible, I just can't justify some crazy sum of cash on a pony is all.

If I do wind up dressing up, I think I have enough stuff on hand to be a witch, so im going with that. I just started a new job, so im not sure if they dress up for Halloween or not, if they do ill have to do something lol. I love halloween, but here in oz its not as widely celebrated as the us, wish it was. Halloween stuff is awesome.

I don't collect them, but love the illustrations and stories in them. They are beautifully done. I have a tonne of childrens stories, and unfortunately don't really have room for anything that isn't aimed at around five years and under. I use my books to read to the children I teach and find that anything too long winded loses the attention of the kids too quickly. Pretty much something short with pretty pictures, and preferably some sort of life lesson thrown in lol. I had a few serendipity books, can't remember exactly which ones, but wound up giving themaway due to lack of bookshelf space. And im a sucker for buying any diecent kids booksat garage sales. Im lucky I don't have my own, so my kids technically never grow out of my book collection, I just get new kids to read them to

It would be a shame to see them retired, but they may have a agreement to only release so many or for a certain period of time. They are gorgeous in person, photos do them no justice.

The new style ones are pretty cute, not as cool as the older ones but have that look about them. Id love to get my hands on a kitty, and would love to see them make the pony and bunny surprise again. So cute!

Thanks everyone. Just so happy to finally have a job. I originally loved my old job, but a lot of changes, shifting rooms and losing over a third of our staff in the space of a month turned it into a place I no longer enjoyed.
Thankfully the new place has a nice bunch of girls, its smaller and more intimate than the last place, and not run by a huge company trying to profit. The director owns it and she is a lovely lady. I am very grateful for this opportunity.

Its been a couple of months of being jobless, about a month of not being able to actively look due to being hospitalized with a nasty infection and recovery, but ive beenttrying so hard to find something.
I just started a course in training and assessment yesterday, and I had a call from a director I had completed a couple of trial days with to offer me a position. As she understood I had just started the new course and needed tuesdays off for the next eleven weeks, she offered me a permanent four day week on a casual basis until I completed the course, which will be perfect for me as ill be on about the same money dropping the day a week casual rates as I would be full time. Im also studying my bachelor in education (early childhood).
I start monday, and im so excited about it. As ive already done a couple of days, I know what to expect. Just so happy to have a job! Im sick of being flat broke lol.
