The Dollhouse / Re: Ball Jointed Dolls- Thread #3
« on: May 15, 2016, 06:12:15 PM »
Thanks Ficklefae, the offer closed on May 10th but I managed to find someone awesome on Facebook to help out with no cost wanted. :) I now just have to find the patience to wait until August for my new dollfie to arrive.

Bump, anyone willing to help me out please? I have until the 10th of May before I have to order and I'd really rather use a person rather than a forwarding service for this.

I thought all colours in both the mane and tail were meant to be separate, that's how I remember my Raincurl. She's never been restyled and that's how she looks now with separate coloured curls in both mane and tail.

You can buy reproduction seapony shells? How did I not know this?

I'm hoping someone living in USA can help me out. I want to buy a Volks FCS from their USA store (online) but I don't want to send it to a warehouse address in case something happens to it. I was hoping I could borrow someone's services as a package forwarder to New Zealand. The doll will be coming from Japan but won't be posted until July/August. I'm happy to pay or barter for services.

My Saki has cute kitty socks now, and shoes are in the post so things are happening at my place. Still having trouble finding a wig that suits her but I might have to hold off as I've already spent WAY too much on my dolls for the time being. Will get a photo of them when I'm home from work.

Pony Corral / Questions to ask kiddies when showing your collection
« on: April 20, 2016, 05:11:37 PM »
So I'm putting my collection on display and I want a sort of interaction with the kiddies that go see it to make it a bit more exciting. I was thinking something on the lines of 'How many baby ponies are there?' but maybe not as boring?  Can you guys help me come up with some questions? I'm offering virtual lollypops to those how help and physical lollypops to the kiddies. :P

My collection is only G1 but I do have playsets, merch, accessories, pony wear and petite ponies (with a couple of their palysets), if that will help.

I shall be cleaning and tidying pony hair either tomorrow or Sunday depending on what time I get up. I shall take a photo of the group so far (paper towels, rubber bands and all).

I might try for the 1 pony a week. I managed to corral some friends to help me a few weeks ago and managed to get 3/4 of my collection at least washed if not styled. I have hopes for a place to show off my collection to the public sometime in June so I want to get them all pretty for their big public debut.

I use metal dog combs as I heard plastic combs create too much static and pull at the hair.

For original curls (depending on the type) I'd get it slightly wet and comb it around something with same size/shape so you keep the curl in place but just tidy it up a bit.

Thanks! Be careful, they grow on you and soon you have more than one. :P The msd size is my favourite as they still look cute but aren't too big or small, just right.
