It's kind of a tradition by now that every year on Kings Day (or formerly Queens Day) we travel to the Netherlands! It was a loooot of fun this year, as always. We met so many nice people! This is what I found, not only ponies, but very many lovely things as in the Netherlands they have much nicer decorations and stuff. Someone here found a Big Brother 4-Speed with his hat and bandana in a thrift store and raffled it for a good cause. That was years ago, but I remember so well because I was the lucky one who won him I had never won anything before that and I am still smiling everytime I see the little guy on the shelf. It is a very happy memory connected to this wonderful community and he will always have a special place in my heart and will forever stay in my collection!

here is another related question, if the HK China switch was at the same time as the Pat pend switch, would that mean there *could* be 4 minor variants for some sets? 1st set wingers have Hk/China variants, now I'll have to check their PP marks too because I was not looking at that before....
I don't think there is any with four variations with China/HK and PP/NPP.
This is really interesting! I have three different Mommy Bright Bouquets: China, China PP and Hong Kong PP. Now I'm wondering if there is a HK version without PP out there...

I love everything with polka dots on it. Especially if it is red with white dots or white with red ones I have cups, mugs, plates, several enamel pots, lunch boxes, casseroles, a table runner... even my coffee machine is red with white dots

I guess most private ebay sellers are not aware of the fact that the estimated delivery date could be so extremely important for a buyer. Avoiding private sellers might be the only option then. And please remember: I am just sharing my two cents...

If you need to know before, then maybe if the seller doesn't state anything in the auction, asking before buying might help. It could also be helpful to tell the sellers that you need to know the exact shipping date. I don't think most sellers are aware of something like that.
If a certain handling time is stated and not fulfilled, especially after communicating with the seller, I'd have no problem with giving less stars for shipping time.

Hermes hasn't a reliable tracking. The last three packages I sent with Hermes arrived before the tracking status was even updated. The status was still "information delivered" and nothing more.
I also noticed that people tend to take longer than before to ship. But people are also much more busy than in past days. Most people work, have children, animals... I try to be understanding most of the time. It is annoying, of course, especially if you want an item really really much and as fast as possible, but I guess every seller has been in a situation now and then when quick shipping just isn't possible, may it be because of sickness, work or something else... so I try not to judge.

The My little Pony scrapbook is a great site too, I do all of my research there. It is especially great for European collectors because the UK market was similar to the European market it seems and Etherella shares so much great info there.
