I grew up with the G1 ponies too so they will always be my favourites.  How lucky you have been involved in pony conventions!  I would love to go to something like this one day (or Comic Con!) but sadly I live on the other side of the world.  I wish you luck on your G1 pony collecting adventure :lovey:

Great to have you here, themoontonite :happy:  We have other members here who don't actively collect as such, so don't feel like you have to own 100s of ponies to belong.  The Corral is a great place to hang out and meet other pony fans and from there you can branch out to pretty much whatever takes your fancy!  I hope you enjoy the forums and I look forward to seeing you around :frolic:

Hi Mintybloom, great to have you here!  :frolic:  The G1 ponies remind me of my childhood too and my collection never fails to pick me up if I am feeling a bit gloomy.  Cotton Candy was my first ever childhood pony so I get your love for the collector pose!

I'm sure there are other members here from the Alabama area.  I would love to meet with you but as I live in New Zealand that is highly unlikely, lol.  Sorry to hear you are parting with some of your collections but I'm sure the money will come in handy.
