If you are not discussing buying a specific item you currently have on eBay outside of eBay, it is not really breaking any of their rules.

Has she bought something already? If so she should be able to find your email connected to the Paypal payment. ;) Alternatively if you write a note on a piece of paper such as "email me: name@service" then send it as a picture attached to a message, it will not get caught in eBay's email filter. :bigups:

Message the seller and let them know what happened.

What I would recommend is having the seller refund your money, you change your PayPal address to the correct one, and then repay the seller.

The seller is not protected unless they send to the address that is on the payment, so they likely will refuse to send unless you repay.  (I don't think the address will be updated on Payment #1, even if you update your info with PayPal.  Which is why a new payment is necessary)

This. ^

Message the seller & explain what happened, then initiate cancelling the transaction. If the buyer requests to cancel, eBay refunds the seller's fees, and the seller doesn't end up paying for a buyer's error. Then the seller can relist & you can purchase & pay using the correct address.

Alternatively some sellers will agree to send to a different address, although by eBay's rules they are not required or advised to send to any address other than the one in the payment because they lose their seller protection.

I think there are at least 2 distinct releases of her found MOC with her comb in different shades of blue as well. The multiple freckle paint colors are probably batch differences for ponies carded & sold in specific parts of Europe (example: ponies on an English language card may have been ordered as a separate production batch from ponies on a German language card, ect).

I can confirm that PayPal will not let you have 2 accounts attached to the same bank account. I ran into this issue when I was trying to consolidate to one bank account between my husband & I after I stopped working full time. In the end, I kept my separate bank account in order to keep our PayPal accounts running separately.

bluerose, is it possible that your 2 accounts were started before PayPal had this rule in place and you were "grandfathered in" with existing accounts?

MLP Nirvana / Re: Do you collect nirvana accessories?
« on: March 18, 2017, 06:49:41 AM »
I love completing ponies with accessories. I like the subtle differences in some Nirvana accessories, although I don't necessarily go out of my way to collect every piece.

I have a pink and blue duck pull toy.  Any idea who it came with?

The pink & blue duck toy came with a different Hasbro toy line - small dolls called Love-A-Bye Babies. These dolls also had the MLP princess hats with pompoms on top that were meant to be birthday party hats. Hasbro reused molds from the pony line on a lot of lesser known products. ;)

MLP Nirvana / Re: Are There Any Non G1 Nirvana??
« on: March 09, 2017, 10:09:27 AM »
I think one of the qualifications to classify a pony as a "Nirvana" was that it had to be G1.

As far as non-US/Euro ponies from other generations, I think there were some G3 ponies made & sold in Mexico, Brazil, and/or some other limited South American markets. Most G2's had a wide release throughout Europe, but I think there were a small number of variations that had smaller country-specific releases.

I primarily collect G1's so hopefully someone more knowledgeable about newer generations can give a better answer. :bigups:

Pony Corral / Re: Hasbro Softies: when pink ponies were shortpacked
« on: March 03, 2017, 07:08:49 PM »
That is actually the second year assortment of those Plushies. The ones that were short packed were also part of the first set in the previous year. In the Unicorn & Pegasus set, Glory was the new character while Moondancer & Firefly were reissues (although all were technically different since they were the Open Mouth versions). Same with the Rainbow Ponies - Windy was new that year while Parasol & Starshine were the reissues.

Trader & Shipping Support / Re: which is cheaper?
« on: February 11, 2017, 04:41:53 PM »
I believe PayPal adds a percentage to the currency conversion for sales between US & all other countries. I read in their most recent TOS update that they are increasing the fees on international transactions at the end of March.

Most US eBay sellers only use PayPal. Credit card payments go through PayPal, so I'm not sure that you have a choice in those cases.

I know a lot of European sellers have a bank transfer option. Since that is not common in the US, I'm not very familiar with it, however that may be cheaper if you are getting a direct currency conversion without PayPal's additional charge.

Pony Corral / Re: Three "weird" G1-ponies: customs or variations?
« on: February 08, 2017, 11:15:28 AM »
Peppermint Crunch is probably a Spanish-made "no country" version. The Sundae Best ponies as well as Summer Wing Ponies & possibly a few other sets from that year pop up with the country scratch out. They may have some slight color variations compared to the standard release, but since they aren't substantially different they are not as sought after (or even recognized) as most other international variations.

The yellow heart brush came with some earlier releases of Dream Castle (it was soon replaced with a yellow star brush, so that is the more commonly ID-ed brush for that play set) .

Price Check Archives / Re: Price Check Paradise Estate Tiny Parts

I agree with drusilla. :bigups:

When I've had extras, I've priced them as follows:
- Silverware $16-20 per piece.
- Comb & Perfume bottle $5-10.
- "Larger" pieces like the plates, bottles, ect $2-4

73
I think I paid $125 for just the mommy (in excellent condition). As a set with mommy & both babies I would expect it to be $250-300.

As a complete set with all of her accessories, I'd expect her to be $200+. Those accessories can be very tough to track down, especially the smaller pieces like the blanket & stack toy (with correct colors).

I'm so sorry to hear about your dog.

Do you know what shipping would be to the US for just the comb? I might be able to make an offer, but shipping will determine how much I could afford over all. Thank you. :)
