I use the term "fakie" to imply a MLP that isn't a MLP.
I don't call breyers "fakies" because they are model horses.
Colourful plastic with brush able hair=a fake to me.

Hasbrouck certainly wasn't being a knock off of their own brand when they made the Cabbage Patch Ponies, but there still in that umbrella term for me.

That being said, I LOVE fakies! Sometimes more than real MLP

Had her but didn't keep her. Her curls and big symbol are lovely, but that shade of pink with those colours makes her not the pony for me. :p

I have a male lion, two cubs and a bank. I still haven't found the lioness. The babies are super adorable. I'm a big fan of the lion king and the babies are like the perfect crossover between tlk and mlp to me

OH GOD! No kidding! I remember when "brony" was starting to be a thing. My obscure hobby became mainstream!....but then it got cringey... Like, really really bad. I can't wait for the G5 for the same reasons, but I doubt it's going to come along soon :/

I think super mint condition collections are boring. I prefer my ponies to be a little beat up, have some history and character!

I prefer my pets to be like your ponies are. I love a dog with history. An old soul who has not necessarily had life be roses, but is his own "person" because of it. Character, quirks and all!
